
“He wants people to see how hands-on he is,” a source told Us Weekly in their Oct. 1st issue. “From diaper duty to teaching Dannielynn her first words, while he lives under the glare of the media through lawsuits and custody battles.”
An E! source told Us the yet-to-be-titled project is “still in the early stages,” however the source close to Birkhead claims it will run the emotional gamut from “the very comical to the very sincere.”
“I wanted to do something that would make her mother proud,” said Birkhead in the Sept. 24 issue of In Touch Weekly. “Anna was over-the-top in life. I wanted to do something she’d approve of.”
“Larry has turned down a lot of offers. [He's] not sure about the show,” the source told Us. “He was on a few of Anna’s reality shows and saw how that worked, with the long hours… But the production companies are getting more and more aggressive because they think the show will be a hit.”
