How to Annihilate Your Own Support Group

A TMZ blogger asked if any of the people that blog about Howard K Stern ever change their opinion. I did. Mine is personal or who knows, maybe I would have eventually anyway. Looking back, some of the things that had been revealed just didn’t sit right with me.

It started when I learned that Howard did not ride in or follow the ambulance taking Anna Nicole to the hospital on the day that she died. And all of those phone calls he made before and after Anna was discovered dead. But being the good Sternite that I was, I ignored that. Just like everyone else and everything else suspicious is ignored to this day by his die hard fans.

I opened up this website four days after Anna Nicole died. The main reason was because I had watched Anna Nicole over the years and viewed her reality show.. At the time, it looked like Howard really cared for Anna Nicole and I saw her “mommy dearest” interview. I wanted to help gather grass roots support for Anna to be buried with her son Daniel.

The site was quite a success and after the burial everyone desperately wanted the site to stay open. So it did. It evolved from a support site or as Art Harris called it, a “fan site”, to a group of people that used all their spare time to help Howard and perform research for his legal teams.

Some really talented people emerged from the members of the site. One was an attorney. Another found ways to track every move that was made by G. Ben Thompson and she also documented all of their real estate holdings and associations. Another has a gift for the written word and wrote some scathing articles concerning all the various players. Others were just plain good at digging up information whether it was public records or “slanderous” articles and videos.

Then the inevitable happened and egos got in the way. Lies and false accusations by some power hungry unsavory characters caused me, my site and everything associated to be shunned by the ones that we were trying to help. Anyone that had anything to do with me and my site eventually became persona non grata. Sure, what happened to me, my site and its members is personal. But it wasn’t right and it didn’t just happen to me.

It changed my mind because there was no logic to “possibly” alienating a large group of dedicated people and the first one and only Howard K Stern support site on the internet. But they were smart. They counted on where the group’s loyalties were and that was with Howard. Not with a website.

Howard’s sister Bonnie made an effort to trick and lure some of the researchers into sending their research to the trouble makers for their “special handling” but got busted. In the end even with that dishonest attempt known, Howard could do no wrong as far as his die hard fans were concerned..

I’ll probably never know why “The Sterns” (as I was told and it was not retracted) withdrew their support when many of us used all of our spare time for months to be activists for them. When I look back, I had written one of the troublemakers a snarky email that may have been frowned upon in answer to hers. But it was simply an angry and hurt reply to false accusations.

Being accused of ruining Howard’s chances of getting custody of Dannielynn and other assorted outlandish fairy tails were taken as gospel by the Sterns led by Bonnie. Me? A lowly blogger was going to ruin Howard by posting that Virgie Arthur married her first cousin? It was especially bizarre when the same information was widely available elsewhere on the net.. The real clincher came when a public forum post by the main trouble maker and liar four days later was discovered giving Art Harris the same information that I was told was untrue and could bring lawsuits from Virgie Arthur’s attorney John O’Quinn. Hmmmm. They didn’t want me to post it but Harris was given directions on how to obtain the documents that I was told, were not accessible even to professional investigators.

I had posted a long time ago on my blog that BDSM and Porn sold more “chocolate” and boy was I correct about that one.

In conclusion, wherever there are dirty dealings and moral degenerates teaming up, there is usually more to come. No sour grapes, no jealousy. Just disbelief at how the Sterns treated the “little people” that had good intentions and gave so very much. Months of their lives were donated only to be slapped in the face.

However, I hope Howard and company plan on paying for their lawsuit video and transcripts. Because what they received from the researchers was copyrighted material. Material that was reformatted and edited by their best buddies in BDSM land. They surely don’t plan to use Fox and CNN’s own video and transcripts culled from the internet (by laymen) against them and others in lawsuits. Do they?
