Yesterday, coming out of the court house after day two of the inquest, Howard K Stern was questioned by Splash News.
Here in part is what they say.
Arthur’s camp have in the past suggested the reason Stern has legal representation, as he is not related to Daniel, is because he is worried about damaging details that may emerge about him. When asked about this on the way out, Stern questions Arthur’s presence and says he is an “interested party”. When asked if he is worried about details that may emerge, he first ignores the question and continues to walk away, before turning around to say it is a “very emotional process for me? much more than Virgie because Daniel was actually in my life”. He then adds “I’d appreciate it if you respect that”.

The Associated Press does not have many details from day three of the inquest into the death of Daniel Smith. However, what is notable came from the Director of the Forensic Science Section of the Bahamian Police Force. Chief Superintendent Quinn McCartney said that the amount of methadone that was in Daniel Smiths system was enough to set off alarms. He said that he interpreted “bloody froth in his lungs” was a “clear sign of overdose.”
That differs from what was said by Dr Govinda Raju and an American doctor, Cyril Wecht who was hired by Daniel’s mother, Anna Nicole Smith to perform an independent autopsy. They both said that Daniel’s death occurred from the lethal combination of the drugs Zoloft, Lexapro and Methadone.

So….
If Daniel was taking medications including methadone,who prescribed it(the methadone)? Was he just handed the methadone without prescription? The Nassau Guardian article reports only one of the medications found in his system was actually prescribed to him.
For what reason was he taking it?
If he was taking it while in CA, could it be possible that he had taken some of his own and accidently drank his mothers drink that “Might” have had some in the drink? Resulting in the OD.
OT~ I want to extend my condolences to Larry, Dannilynne and their Family on the loss of Mr Birkhead. This time of year always makes it much harder. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Daniel had metadone pills in his pocket. He came straight from the airport, o he must have gotten them, in Ca./ Also he had been taking methadone before he arrived in Ca,. IT has been reporrted that Daniel saw DR>E just before he went to the Bahamas. I doubt she would give him a prescription for anything. She probably had her samples, if she is the one taht gave them to him.

People, The boy died from 10 x’s the dose of Methadone from food or drink that Howard gave Daniel! Anna screamed that Howard killed her child in the hospital and at the funeral… What other evidence is necessary? Howard has legal representation because he is worried he is going to the horrible prison in the Bahamas…
It doesn’t matter what Anna screamed.
I would have been screaming, too. In fact I may have accused everyone including God Himself.
Unless someone witnessed Howard doing something, I don’t see how anyone can prove anything, even if he did this evil thing that ‘The Media’ and ‘Their Guests’ made so many, believe.
And, if Daniel truly had 10x the dose, and they found traces in the food or drink, and no one saw who put it in that food or drink…
Who would you suspect?
Maybe Daniel drank out of the wrong cup…hummm.
Then maybe someone was really trying to ‘do in’ Howard…hmmm.
So, the inquest is just going to continue all the suffering.
And, probably make people wonder even more.
Unless Anonymous is supposed to be testifying at the inquest, and saw what went down…then they are probably under some kind of contempt…for commenting here.
Who would you suspect then, and what if they happen to live in SC or TX?

And, by the way, I’m starting to feel real bad for what Larry must be going through.
I believe Dannielynn ‘Hope’ must be a Godsend for him and many others.
Children can make you very happy, and keep you very occupied at living life in the ‘Present’ instead of dwelling on the past.

Have you not read the inquest news? There was no scream as you are representing it to be.
And HKS has legal representation because 1) he is a lawyer, 2) he represents Dannielynn’s interests and estated, 3) He was as close to “kin” to Anna and Daniel as one can be without sharing blood.
I’m not even a “Sternie.” I don’t pine for the man, and I think he was an enabler, and I really don’t have a lot of respect for how he chose to spend 11 years of his life….
but that doesn’t make him a killer. Or a suspect. At least not in the eyes of the law, even though people like you will surely cook up your wild theories for years to come.

Syn, those words are all that are being reported in the news so far. Unless we hear from someone that attended the inquest that can be trusted to report accurately, we will not know ALL the words that Anna Nicole screamed!
I wish we could get transcripts of who said what and a complete accurate testimony instead of all these bits and pieces. It almost seems like a contradiction for every part of the testimony given between witnesses. It raises more questions than answers and more room for speculations. I was hoping to get more answers and instead scratching my head! I have seen written 26 pills in Daniels suitcase but then I thought he only had a backpack. If he did have a suitcase with pills how did he get thru the search at the airport? Then I saw it was sample pacs. The pills that were found at the hospital was methadone and a muscle relaxer.Forget about what happened with the pills at the hospital I am still at the airport figuring out luggage and what the 26 pills were!
I feel the same way Groovy. These so called news reports are probably what went on during maybe five minutes of the proceedings.
Then if you go to spin-a-story, the bald truth. You get the Caribbean merry go round. Meaning MORE SPIN!
We want details!
What is worse is we have to wait until the end of January to get more information when the inquest resumes. I am still looking to verify that because I haven’t seen an actual link but that is rumored. I just can’t believe they haven’t had a full week of testimony yet. This could have been finished already. The delays are just ridiculous. I would hope the jury is making notes because they aren’t going to remember the details of testimonies given. If this is true we will also have another month of spinning to listen to and I am dizzy as it is. I can only imagine what the next thing to be brought out is..lol
I truly do not understand, what spin has Art said? He is reporting the facts no speculations, no conspiracy theories, the mere facts, stand up in court kind. The other media is the one who spun this tale, where are there facts? They simply make suggestions, spin theories and most famously use guest lossers to get on their show and spin the tale all who clearly have motives. I wonder why are they spinning this tale against Howard. Yeah, Howard made plenty of mistakes but what did he do so horrible. Who among us lives this perfect life some are so willing to act like they do. Why is it so clear to me the way our media is yet lost on others? Why can I see so clearly the way the these talking heads get guest to spin the tale so they can not be held liable or they say it has been reported that using sources that are not credible and mostly why does this not alarm us as a society? Look what we do to ppl not just Howard we do it all the time. It has gotten to the point we can not rely on our media to tell us the truth. It’s scary the way they get ppl to believe what they want us to believe, really scary.
methadone builds up in the body, as many meds do. Daniel did not have to take a lot at one tme if he was using it as a sleeping aid. I don’t know of Anna ever having methadone in the pill form, hers was liquid form. SO evidently Daniel took his own meds with him when he went to the Bahamas.

Daniel had so few to depend upon, and Grandma had been totally ‘excluded’ from his life for more than a decade.
How hard did she try to be a part of his life?
Probably as hard as she is trying now, after his death.
But, it’s too, late.
She, unfortunately did not try hard enough then…and then was then…and now is now.
So, now in order to deal with the past, she probably needs someone like Dr. Kris…instead of O’Quinn.
I’m still not giving up ‘Hope’ on the likes of her…if you get my drift.

“Medical Records exclude Arthur as family” and I think whoa– wait just one dang minute. Since when does a medical record exclude anyone as family?
I was in the ER a few weeks ago, and filled out my middle daughter’s name as a contact because we both live in the same state.
I didn’t list my oldest daughter, my oldest son, my youngest son, my grandkids, my mom, my aunts, uncles or cousins……
So…..? Would that mean that the medical records (being the powerful things they are) EXCLUDED all of them from being my family?
No, I don’t think so.
And no, I have no big issue w/ Harris. He’s okay. His forum sucks, but that’s another story. He DOES spin though, but so do all or most entertainment reporters. He’s way better than many, but not as good as some. I just don’t worship him the way Stern’s biggest fans do.

Thanks anonymous for clarifying what I had previously posted. Maryst by no means was I implying Art if I was referring to him I would have said his name. I mentioned spin as in what little facts we know will in turned be used to credit or discredit a fabricated theory and cause rumors to run rampant for any interested persons involved. I am tired of seeing made up garbage just to sway people away from the real true facts. The amount of speculation has been overdone and with the inquest we can hear people testify to the truth as they saw it. All I want is the facts not someones interpertation of it.

It says a lot about airport security, I assume that taking Methodone out of the USA is not allowed? Find out which drug was prescribed legally AND where the others came from! Sadly the “track record” of ANS shows that she was surrounded by drugs…neither she nor HK$ kept them locked away RESPONSIBLY! Somehow I find it a lot easier to view things when there is no vested interest in any one person.
