Afraid of the Truth?

It appeared as if “R” had appointed herself the official spokesperson for the Stern family. The Bonnie Stern post on “R’s” new site spoke of greed, “I am so sorry that so much greed has turned into all of this.” “R” told me that comment was directed at me and I believed her.

A friend asked Bonnie about that and she did not deny that it was directed to me and another person like “R” had stated. In fact she did not deny anything that was to be posted on “R” and “H” site.

Then one of the girls that was a new chat room moderator had sent Bonnie Stern an email trying to explain what happened. She shared this email reply from Bonnie. In part it read,

“I just wrote an email from Howard to “QV, etc and “R”, because this has become so stressful and competitive for everyone and I am really feeling tired and drained from all of this.. I’m trying to run my own businesses (one is a startup) and help at the same time.. It’s become sad for me to see what is going on.”

That further served to confuse me because of the “thank you” note that Bonnie had posted on “R’s” site where my site members were NOT and with no denial as to who she was referring to as “greedy”.

Also there was no “competition” on my part. I was attacked, falsely accused and I defended myself. Period. When I did not obey “R”, it seemed to obliterate all that I had done for Stern. However, my concern was running the site and taking care of the members so they could do what they wanted to do. No one was granted a say so about what I wrote except for extending the courtesy to remove something at the family’s request.

I did not schmooze with the “brass” like others did and I wrote an explanation to Bonnie detailing the sequence of events and things that were said. Only to be told it was ok to sell something, (which was a false accusation by “R”) and stop arguing.

Things would never be the same for our happy community. There was an aura of suspicion and mistrust. The contributing members did not want to send their research to “R” and “H”. They saw the thank you post by Bonnie Stern on “R’s” site and reasoned that it was her but not Howard and they were going to continue to help Howard.

Then on May 2nd, I got the call that my mom was gone. She lived in Las Vegas Nevada with me on the other side of the country and I had not spoken to her for a couple of weeks. She did not mention being sick but now she was gone and was discovered several days later.

My brother and I got on the first available flights to face what no one ever wants to see.

Another blogger ran my site for me and when I arrived home less than a week later, there was nothing special to report. I did not want to be on the computer much less go back to the blog but again, I promised myself that I would continue because the members of the blog wanted to and I felt a responsibility to them.

There had been the random bashing against myself on “R’s” blog. A couple of posts about new “cyber stalking” laws, blah blah but “R” and I had our final words by email days before I left town.

They gave me about a week to settle back in. I read posts by “R” telling “H’s” helpers” on their “invite only” blog, where to send their research and not to post it in public. I was wondering what she was talking about because as far as I knew, no one or very few were sending anything to them anymore and she had a total of about six people posting on her blog including “H” and herself.

On May 14th out of nowhere came a post from “R” called,

“Sensationalism Blogging”.

“I asked a blog owner to take down my writings on a blog because frankly, as I told the owner I could not afford the legal fees if a lawyer known to be litigious came after the blog and the people that had contributed with articles.”

(I have to interject. Wouldn’t a lawyer known to be litigious kind of be like a dog known to be canine? And what would O’Quinn sue her for? Her bullwhip?)

“Yet that fact was never shared nor even clarified to other bloggers, instead I was blasted in personal emails to me, on other blogs, even private emails went to lawyers stating that I was a person not to trusted, I became a target of sensationalism and I am nobody”.

“In my situation, I chose to offer what small talents I may have to save some of these parties in this current saga time and money and not join the other frenzy bloggers.”

“This is what this blog and this site is about, and those of us that call this home like what we do and enjoy each other. If you have a talent you want to share then email us, we would love for you to do the thankless job of fact checking with us, the more the merrier as we say.”

Next Inquest hearing May 22nd

As many of you have pointed out, the information and researching of Virgie needs to be put to the side for now. The next inquest hearing is May 22, 2007 and Howard and team need all of the help and research we can get to them to show that there is no way the Inquest as it is set up now can ever be independent and not biased towards Howard…

Keep working on all of the wondrous things you are finding, each tidbit you uncovered is very much needed and appreciated. I think most of you have “H’s” personal email addy if not leave an msg here and she will get that to you.

So she states, I was supposed to give legal advice to people that posted on my blog. And emails were sent out about her saying this and that. If she is talking about other than the initial argument, it never happened. She also issues orders on what to work on to her phantom members.

I say the word “phantom” because the research had continued but no one was sending it to her. Everyone wanted a place to send it to but because of all the controversy, I refused to handle it period. I didn’t do it before and I was not going to start. “R” had tried to drive a wedge between so many people including the video helper and myself but it didn’t work, so I told a few members if they did not want to send what they had to the attorneys directly, send it to him as he had carried on what he was doing and was in contact with an Attorney Ben Erwin, at Lin Wood’s office.

Someone was NOT happy with the flow of information slowing to a trickle and now Bonnie Stern went on a mission to change that.

She contacted one of the newer moderators and had a nice chat with her via messenger. The moderator contacted the other three and Bonnie held court in a Yahoo chat with my four moderators. Here are some excerpts from it with the chit chat cut out of it.

One of the moderators was nice enough to send me that chat log. But, my newly developed suspicious mind said something wasn’t right. So I asked a friend to read the chat log. My friend “Googled” the email address that Bonnie had given the girls to send their work to. Boy, were we in for a shock!

Only one search was required. The email address was linked to a bondage, domination, sadism and masochism -BDSM- website and belonged to “R’s” husband.

The “research donations” had been trickling down to nothing and Bonnie knew that most of the people did not want to send their work to “R”. But that did not stop her from contacting one of my moderators to get the flow going again.

In fact, in the process of trying to get things moving again, one of the moderators who said that she had some legal background had offered to receive the research and do what “R” was doing so no one had to deal with her. But that never happened because all hell broke loose again.

I went exploring to see what all “R” was involved in. I went to domaintools.com and found that there were only five actual websites and one subdomain housed on “R’s” website hosting company. I had never seen that before. If you do a search for a hosting provider and then go to domaintools.com, they will tell you how many domains are hosted on a website hosting provider’s server. For instance, one provider is “Host Gator”. Host Gator right now has almost 800 sites and over 300,000 domains hosted on their servers. I had never seen one with less than 100 or so and that for new companies.

One domain was a BDSM site. One was labeled an “attorney assistance” site. One was a BDSM support group site. The other two were hard core porn sites. The subdomain was “R’s current blog..

In the meantime, it was discovered that the people who were already sending their information to that email address that Bonnie had given out were receiving a thank you note. It was about time these people got thanked. But the note said,

Dear xxxxxx,

We want to thank you for the work you and the volunteers you are working with for sending us all of this info. It is invaluable and is as you know very cost saving for Mr. Stern. We can not thank you and those who helped you for providing this to us.

Again on behalf of all of Mr. Stern’s legal team our deepest thanks, we will see this is separated and sent to the appropriate attorneys in California, Georgia, Florida and/or the Bahamas.

An acquaintance had contacted Bonnie and asked her who this email address belonged to. Bonnie’s reply was “legal liaison”. Period.

So readers, what would you think about someone who was trying to repair their reputation and was hiring legions of attorneys to sue for defamation? Do you think that his “legal liaison team” should be bundled with BDSM and porn sites?

I didn’t. So I emailed Attorney Ben Erwin with my findings.

I had not too long before, received a nice email from Attorney Ben Erwin from Lin Wood’s office thanking me for letting “VM” store the huge amount of video that he had gathered for Stern on my server.

The very next day, someone sent me a scathing commentary that “R” had posted on her website. Which is of course no longer there, but you can read it right here.

Let’s get it all out in the open here, who is the real “R”?

It has come to my attention that a couple of blog owners and a few confidents went through the email that was offered of “sxxxdnxx@.com and googled the name, if you have my personally email addy it is easy to google my name as well.

We have never hid the fact that we work on and or own several very classy porn free, non-judgmental adult sites. One of the sites I design and we own is based on a magical castle and the URL is http://www.atruerose.com the close mindedness, the being told not to send your work product to the gmail account because (fill in the blank here), is based on frankly ignorance and the worse kind of bias.

Perhaps I was attracted to helping with the Howard K. Stern and Anna Nicole Smith lawsuits because my parents taught me at a young age to judge people by the content, of who they are, not by a label. My parents worked for Civil Rights in the south in the late 50’s when our home was on a list to be bombed. My parents encouraged me to stand by a good friend who “came out of the closet as gay” in 1964. Both of those situations opened my eyes, as how teaching narrow mindedness is probably the worse thing to harm the most people that have ever happened to us as human beings. I advocate we must be open-minded, we must not judge others, less we be judged; and above all else, “the truth shall set you free”. I do not push my life philosophy down the throats of others, nor do I expect everyone to understand me and judge me by the content of my person, and not a label hung on me by others.

I can tell all of you who have been told NOT to send anything to the gmail account listed above, that by doing that then your submitted work is DEFININATLY NOT being sorted; it is NOT going to the right offices and or to the people that need it. In other words, it is NOT helping except to give a handful of people some sort of misguided power they feel they need. The people who it was important for me to be honest with, know of the porn free adult web sites including http://www.naaval.org a site that wants all domestic violence to stop, no matter what your sexual orientation or what personal road you have picked to journey down.

If I had wanted to hide who I am, my thoughts, my personal beliefs, I would have never given anyone my personal email account nor would “K” have given his gmail account. We provided that without thought as to how this might be used and spread around to show whatever some people are trying to show or imply about us. Our only thought was to provide it as a drop all account to be sorted, separated into what is ready to go, what needs more work, and which legal team can make the best use out of it; I do not hide who I am, nor the life journey I have chosen, nor am I judgmental of others. I do have to wonder about those saying don’t send the info. that can help to that email addy because “she has an adult porn free site”, why are they even working on the Anna Nicole cases? Perhaps it was my ability to be open and non-judgmental that allowed me to see that something needed to be done and that I had some talent that could be of help.

Now you see, the point of my emailing Howard’s attorney had nothing personally to do with “R” and her lifestyle. It had to do with Howard K. Stern’s reputation. A reputation that he was suing people about because he claims that he was defamed by them.

My friend did the same but she also sent a copy to Bonnie Stern. Bonnie Stern then gave it to “R”. So much for her notes to people concerning her alleged “distress” about the controversy. Bonnie herself contributed to it and actually exacerbated it as she had been since April 19th.

But it did not end there. A few days later, another article written by “R” revealed that not only had the Stern family notified her of the concerns raised but, the attorney that I sent the email to called her on the phone. You can read this piece here.

“R” writes: Bloggers, sometimes and often their writings are based on inaccuracies and opinions. Any truths can be thrown out the window for those that seek sensationalism or want to be portrayed as the victim. For whatever reason their need to continue to share half-truths and inaccuracies will continue down that path…

This is an editorial opinion by “R”:

A person that says he is the “video/media” part of the “team” to help research and make things available to the Stern family and their lawyers, for some reason felt the need to zip up a blog and send it to me. When I asked why was this sent to me and what am I suppose to do with it, the answer was, “well I do the video you do the written parts and I thought you should know there were inaccuracies in this”.

HUH??? Bloggers, sometimes and often their writings are based on inaccuracies and opinions. Any truths can be thrown out the window for those that seek sensationalism or want to be portrayed as the victim. For whatever reason their need to continue to share half-truths and inaccuracies will continue down that path and I do not think any of us want to censor the internet, this is a wonderful tool of sharing and connecting for many of us. I think I might be able to give some guidance and my own take on the opinions offered by this “blogger”

“Some people even paid out of their own pocket for more extensive information, such as background checks and criminal information…. and they wanted to share what they found with Stern’s family and attorneys…one person volunteered to collect the information, and another volunteered to organize it and submit it to the parties involved.”

I think this fits many people researching out there and doing background checks, with public databases and private databases. I agree it is noble that people would offer their abilities to share, organize, and have a central one or two people then submit it to the right places to see the right set of lawyers or others get what they might be able to use with the least amount of expense to the Stern family.

“I’m still not sure how I got dragged into that online bit of drama…”

Perhaps by threatening and writing long and what was thought to be explosive emails to lawyers at different times about how unstable someone was or the lawyers should back away from a certain person because of the claims that (fill in the blank here, usually with my name though) is “unstable”. I love the newest attack sent out to lawyers and family members of the Stern team this week, “…You need to know besides being crazy, unstable, saying she is an employee of a law firm “gasps” the biggest bomb shell yet, she owns a BDSM porn site”… If you start emailing innuendos to lawyers not based on fact they tend to get back to the person you are targeting to discredit.

“And then, of course – because we are dealing with human beings – all hell had to break loose. Arguments broke out and were unresolved. Accusations were flung. Rumors started. Speculations ensued. Egos got involved. People began to think of themselves as employees or true representatives of attorneys involved in the case. They began to believe that a couple of e-mails made them “close” to this or that person. Lawsuits were threatened. Words were taken out of context to injure or discredit others. There were threats to find out who people “really” were. All of these harmful, crazy-making events mirroring, on a microcosmic scale,…”

Boy do I know what this blogger means here. I was the target of long rambling emails to lawyers stating that, “R” is saying she is an employee of your firm” and from there the emails go down hill.

Flash of reality. “R” is retired, and not allowed to make money but because of a terminal liver disease, is encouraged to use my brain cells on things that interest me. This multitude of cases and jurisdictions provided just what the doctor ordered and got my mind off myself and directed towards using my educational background and my training as well as my career background to stay busy. It also allowed me to have the feeling that perhaps I was doing something in some small way that might save money or help. However this, blogger is right, I have been trashed, had lawyers call me to ask me about “who is this woman emailing them they have never heard of”? The latest round this week of being targeted to a new lawyer from one of these firms after being sent this type of emails called me this week and had some simple but reassuring statements for me. “We are sorry your personal life came into all of this it should not have, it is none of our business and it will stay that way. Please keep doing what you are doing we do not have the researchers to separate out the real leads and what can be used and what can not be used, and we have decided not to even acknowledge the latest volley of emails against you with any response back”. I found myself sharing with the lawyer why I had decided not to become a lawyer and there was some laughter.

Was I embarrassed that I was trashed as “unstable”, representing myself as an employee and owned a “porn BDSM site”? Not really, that is what people into sensationalism do to get a rise out of the other person, trashing someone is easy, checking facts and trying to figure out where things turned sour takes effort, sadly a lot of people do not seem to want to spend any time or effort on that. Oh and for the record, I was the only person that had my full even my first name (you know the one your parents give you but you cringe in school when it is used) divulged and then sent around the global internet world. I am also the one that was threatened with “if one of the other parties’ lawyers knew about you”…

“Still, it only takes one unstable person to wreak havoc. While I’ve taken every precaution to protect myself online, I still have to wonder what would happen to my life if a web detective with poor intentions and a grudge turned on me. It’s a scary thought. I am not wealthy or famous… The fact that I’m not involved in any conflict or strife is something I cherish,…

I can relate to this, being the subject of attacks from people that in my opinion must be unstable to start this type of havoc. The damage that a few misguided people seeking attention have done to try to destroy me and my reputation. It is amazing the long emails that went out all about me. What about me as a person, which certainly the person writing these long emails of warning does not know me at all, could possibly warrant such vehement statements? Why is it that anyone that wants to help or send me emails to go through, sort, put in order and then send out are banned from these blogging sites and then they become targets of this same venom?

Human nature is complex and the motivations or even more complex, and frankly, I don’t have the time or inkling to try to unravel the web of deceit involved here.

“ (I) have used my words as weapons as well as salve …Among those is that a writer should never be afraid, of either her own words or the words of others..”

Well I think in those statements, perhaps the real reason of words as weapons is the answer to this long article sent to me, I believe that statement might be some what borrowed from historians.

What saddens me the most is that the very women writing these long emails do not know me, never tried to know me, made a snap judgment with no facts and because I would not give them the facts they demanded, they lost their way in all of this.

It also saddens me that anyone who stays neutral or says “do we really have the facts” ends up banned from their blogs… talking about freedom of speech or sharing differing opinions…

Oh and for the record, when these two women blog owners started accusing me of trying to sell leads to an investigative reporter… that was the most misguided statement of all, there is a saying…….. If only you knew the whole truth about that….

Sadly, this whole situation seems to have one central person at the center, the man who does the videos, when we choose to believe one person and not check the facts, what a tangle web we do weave.

Having a very dry sense of humor here, I will end this entry on my blog with a couple of ironic facts. One of these women set on my “porn free” adult site for almost 2 hours downloading every page she could find on me to a folder on her desk top named “BDSM”, perhaps after all is said and done she is seeking to understand.

Both women brag and do visit this blog on a regular basis, and this has to be about the most boring blog on the internet. And lastly, I have had the opportunity to read some of “_” writings and I think she is an amazing talented writer with a bright future if she wants to go that direction. The man that does the videos is terrific at tracking those down on youtube and other sources, saving them before a network finds them and deletes them. So all and all those that feed off of each other’s paranoia, really do have some great talents, however my personal advice to them is, get a grip on reality and go forth and share your talents.

In all fairness, “R” denied having anything to do with those porn sites which are now (surprise) gone. But I saw plenty of graphics on her other site that weren’t so “wholesome” and are now also….gone. Also gone are the links which another friend of mine followed off of her site but displayed a notice that they were “taken down to prevent getting investigated by the FBI”. They were not on “R’s” site but one of them was BDSM games for children.

I would like to comment about the recent post from “R’s” site that is going around. She names people and their locations that have visited her site like its some kind of crime. The crime is the public naming of site visitors and their locations. Very dangerous in this ever increasingly hostile situation. I know nothing about the threats that she speaks about or how they are associated with the visitors to her site. If there are threats, law enforcement should be called. But I can say that in the past couple of days that I saw “R” ON MY SITE.

Does that mean that she was threatening me? No. Should I put up a “wall of shame” for her and the other names and locations that I know that visit my site that are Howard supporters and like to harass myself and friends of mine? NO! My site is public and so is hers. Or at least it was the last time that I visited which was not in the time frame of when she posted my name and state. Could someone call the internet police task force because I think there is some illegal site visiting going on and “R” needs help with that. And by the way “R”… I am told that I am cute. Thanks for the compliment! :-)
