Thank you QV for remembering Daniel today.
Daniel was certainly a handsome young man.
I understand the wanting of the picture of Anna in her Hollywood glamour looking up to Daniel and kissing him being on the gravestone to solidify her as a celebrity, but this is one of the best.
Sure is sad to see someone so young to have gone through this. My wish is for justice for Daniel. I sure hope it comes soon. It must be so hard on Virgie. My prayers are for her today. Happy Birthday Daniel

Skinhorse, I am so sorry for your loss. That had to be devistating. May your memories of him keep your heart filled with joy forever.
Happy 22nd birthday Daniel. My son just turned 19 and his birthday was just over a week ago, so in a way this hits home for me. Hope you are in your mother’s comforting arms at this time.
Anna did not want Daniel to be close to anyone but herself. She wanted to be his all. She was jealous, of the time Dniel spent with Vergie, when they both lived with her, when she and daniel move, vergie wanted to take Daniel to a movie, and Anna would not let him go. She severed any ties, with Vergie as a grand mother. Now I am not a Vergie, supporter, far from it, but i do like the truth, and this was a part of the Vergie truth.I did not doubt that she told the truth, about this. But , Anna was a selfish person, in my eyes. She wanted to share Nothing. not her money, not her drugs. [she kicked daniel out for tsking her drugs. Daniel was a special young man, and I wish he should have had a childhood, to know what it was like, to be loved, by all the family, on his fathers side and his mothers side. i think God, said, Daniel come home to me, you have suffered enough. Happy birthday Daniel, I hope you are having a big white fluffy birthday cake. and blowing bubbles. in the air.

I’m sorry you left us so early in your life. What you could have done with your life will always be a mystery. How and why you died will hopefully be discovered. I don’t believe you accidentally took too many drugs. There has to be another answer. And with the help of a lot of good people, I hope we find out why you left us so early! May you always be remembered by those that love and care about you.
Holding Mrs. Arthur in my heart and prayers today as she struggles to understand why someone so young and so innocent paid such a high price for being around those who valued drugs more than life itself!
May this be the year of justice for Daniel and his grandmother.
Rest in the arms of the angels Daniel knowing that there are powerful forces at work to see that justice is served on your behalf.
I agree MissMarple. Happy Birthday Daniel, you’d have made a fine young man! We will continue to fight for you and your mom, and I have confidence that the person responsible for your loss of life and your mother’s is fast running out of places to land.
Bless your heart, you never had much of a chance at a normal life but maybe if you’d been allowed to live you could have found real happiness. We will never know, as your life was taken from you far too soon. I just hope that your grandmother, and yes, your other grandparents and your dad all get the answers they are so entitled to have. And most of all, I hope that one day soon you get to make one last trip, back home. You need to be close to those who love you. Rest in peace.
QV – That’s a beautiful tribute. The progression of pictures showing innocence and hope, accompanied by the angelic voice of Loreena McKennitt singing “Dante’s Prayer”…..well, it just reaches deep into the soul.

QV thank you for remembering Daniel today, there are so many of us who didn’t know him but we feel a spiritual connection to him. We pray every day for justice. Two very young family members who have died, what happened, we all want the truth.

That’s too weird, isn’t it? On Daniels B-Day Heath Ledger passes away. Unfortunately things like that happens though – my father-in-law passed away on my sister’s B-Day a while back.
Anxious to read QV’s latest chapter. I hope she posts it soon.
Does anyone know if anyone visited Daniel’s grave site on his birthday?
I’m anxious to read QV’s latest as well. As to your other question, Tropicana, maybe Howie visited Daniel’s grave in the middle of the night so nobody sees him, just like he claims to visit Anna’s grave. Probably didn’t leave flowers though. Sadly I think that Daniel was only an after-thought to Howie. Just like the pink marble slab which is supposedly planned to be placed over the graves. White marble would have been just as lovely for the both of them.
I pray that Daniel will be remembered and his memory cherished, not only as the son of Anna,but for the person who he was and could have been.
This was not a happy birthday.
I remember his ‘painting.’
Wonder if it was ‘water color’ or ‘oil’ or ‘another medium?’
Seems Daniel was very artistic just like his mother, and I wonder about that talent…and his gift.
Seems he had something wonderful to share…maybe he didn’t know what he had.
So, while he sat in a ‘Directors Chair’ and ate ‘Lays’ potato chips…and watched everything going on around him.
Wonder what he really saw, and how he perceived ‘all that.’
Sometimes it’s not really easy to sit and watch…and feel helpless.
The wonderful thing is that he could express that on canvas.
I wonder if we’ll ever see all of his paintings, or if there or more of them, or if he just gave up?
I sure hope Larry realizes what he has…and what he has to give.
And, he needs to learn how to celebrate his birthday.
Maybe like “The Last Samurai.”
