Not Everybody’s Fool

Before you read this next section, I would like to make a statement about how this article was written. The facts in this article are supported by emails and old postings from this site’s former days. I am trying to share as many of the facts so that you can see them with your own eyes. Some things, of course, come from memory. I received an email the other day from a person that was involved in this story about a minor mistake concerning the method in which we communicated once. No problem, I changed it. So there you have it. Some have called this story into question, however I have the evidence to prove facts that are written here. I know its a bit tedious to read, but it will clear up a lot of questions that many people have had for a long time.

I received that email from “R” that practically ordering me to take an article down, in no polite terms. I was stunned and did not have time to reply or ask questions because six minutes later, I received an email from her that said, “I can’t be traced back to your blog via O’Quinn’s threat to sue anyone that libels Virgie….. I need you and “H” go in and take down all of my writings and posts… I am NOT going to be sued and I need that all taken down ASAP”.

Seriously, wasn’t this overkill? She didn’t like one of the forty or more posts I’d written, but rather than communicate with me like a friend and explain her concerns, she went off the deep end and demanded that every post and comment she made be removed. It was shocking to me, really, but I went about the task of taking all her “writings and posts” down. I still had not replied to her any of her emails. About an hour later, another one arrives,

“I have emailed you before, and if you don’t remove my articles and my posts to protect me the next email you get will be CC’d to my personal attorney…Please verify you have taken the articles and ALL posts down, with you and “_” and I think you said “H” as moderators it would not be that hard for you to get this OFF of your blog”.

Did you catch the one where she acts like she doesn’t know who my moderator is (and I think you said “H”)? The one that reports to her for assignments mostly involving my website and its members. The one that emailed her about the story that I had just posted? The one that asked for and supplied my site member’s research and chat transcripts to “R”?

I replied “all you had to do is go take a look…everything is down and has been since you asked…I’ll double check though. QV“. And I went through the search process again and it looked as if all her writings were gone from my blog.

I went to the chat room to hopefully talk to the ones that worked on the information in question. I also had wanted to make sure of everyone that worked on it had put their names on the article. I sent everyone involved an email but had not heard back from all of them.

There was a woman “T”. She was a member of the site. Kind of a conspiracy theorist and she first emailed me when she joined the site with interesting observations that she made about the Marshall family and Bohemian Grove. On that day, she came into the chat room and told my members that they were not supposed to be talking about the Saunders information. I asked her on whose authority that was. She said, my moderator “H”. “T” and I had words about her tone with the people in the room and also about me hearing for the first time that it was ordered that no one should speak about it.

“T” then emailed me and I was glad that she did. She sent me an email conversation that she had with “H”. In that, “T” said that she posted the information two days before and she wrote to “H” to tell her and make sure it was ok. She said that she would have also emailed me but she knew that I was extremely busy. “H” responded to “T” – “thanks muffin .. if anyone asks for whatever .. say you lost it HAHAHAHA I will delete it ;)”.

About that time, I also started receiving emails and seeing members complain on the board about their posts being removed. “H” was doing this on her own, without my permission or knowledge.

There were things going on behind my back, and I felt betrayed. Had I known what was going on, I could have saved a lot of hard and hurt feelings. Also, when I went to the chat room that night, I would not have had my misunderstanding with “T”, which several people witnessed and viewed out of context. After I learned what was going on, I did apologize to her. She sent me a very compassionate and heartfelt email a couple of days later.

Then I get another email from “R”..

“I guess you accidentally forgot these articles, here are the urls so you know which ones I need taken down… I know there is no way to take every post down on topics, but if you don’t mind try to take as many down as you can… It is really sad “QV” that ppl took advantage of your affect to help and turned it into just another media frenzy with keeping to the high standard you have always had “FACTS first OPINIONS second… I hope you can slowly if O’Quinn does not try to get your site taken down, build the reputation your site once had… This is heartbreaking to the Stern family I am sure, since your site was so unique… ….”

What was she talking about?? I posted an article and in the course of a few hours according to “R”, I cost Stern a court case? O’Quinn is going to sue both “R” and I, and get the site taken down to boot? As well as, “a media frenzy” and whatever being heartbreaking to the Stern Family? Again, she cracks on “people” aka the members.….. WHAT?

I had enough of all of it, From “R’s” WTF when I was on the phone with “VM” weeks before, to things being deleted from the blog and other goings on that I was not informed about, as well as being accused of all of the above that “R” had written to me, so I told her what was on my mind. You can see that here.

I apologize in advance for the contents of that email. I know it hard to read. At the time, my opinions were jaded. I had battles with my mother over the years. My own experience colored my opinion of what I was learning and what I saw on television. I did not know the inside story. I still don’t about some items. Some I do. But I do know now that things are sometimes not what they seem.

(As I mention my mother, who by the way I had a good relationship with at the time she passed away, I wonder at the motives of the HKS supporter that goes by the name of “butterfly” and why she posted recently on this blog, a false accusation about my mother who has been gone less than a year.)

This internet war concerned people that most of us have never met nor will we ever meet. Yet people have suited up for battle and will go in for the kill against anyone personally or professionally to injure the opposition. My intent is to tell the truth. The truth about this website and what happened to it and why. And now I continue…

Then came this as a reply to the last email that I sent to “R”, in which I asked the difference between me or another blogger posting the Sanders information.

“Would you like for Bonnie to BEG you not to put it up?

Also, “_” is on her own, she has a LOT of facts incorrect or plagiarized from books…

I give ppl credit in every single EMAIL to anyone… and darlin I am working with a LOT of ppl very high up in this case…

Do what you will, and let the chips fall as they may, and know by printing that when we are doing everything to make sure it is vetted properly and all of the dots are connected… It is my understand that lawyers, reporters and family member have ALL look at that writing and have all SAID, it can not be connected as factual.Why would you of all ppl want to hurt Howard and his chances by putting things ON TMZ, for leaking things in articles that could be CRUCIAL to him? I don’t get media –ores, never have and never will…

Too bad “QV” but your site and “_” is dealing with innuendos and guesses and no facts….

So now according to “R” I am hurting Howard and his chances etc…I am a media whore and so is my site. Then she starts in on “_” who really did not have a lot to do with this site by then and was not a part of this issue and whose writing I only meant to use as an example.

So I fired back.

“Wow! You are really important “R”,

Just for your information ..this is what I put on TMZ and it was before I wrote the article and posted it to my site. (I don’t know about Texas but in Ohio you can walk into any board of health and get a copy of any birth certificate that you would like).

Anything other than what I am posting below for you to see… I have not posted anything publicly anywhere..”

Within a few minutes I received an email from Bonnie Stern. This is one of only about 6 to 8 that we had ever exchanged. Later I came to find out that she was in very close contact with “R” and so were other members of the Stern family.

“Hi Sweetie… Someone sent me this article… At this time, there are a lot of inconsistencies with the factual part of this information. I would really appreciate it if this was not posted until the facts are positively known to be true for sure… The information based on geneology.com cannot connect James Sanders as Virgie’s first cousin and O’Quinn is looking for a reason to sue anybody who makes false claims about his client.. I have already been threatened on a few occasions and I don’t want that to happen to you as well. I’m just looking to make sure nobody here has any unneccessary problems when they’ve been trying to help Howard…”

So, I wrote to Bonnie and apologized and the article stayed down.

Of course, so much came after the fact but I want to stop here to show what I found. Art Harris had written an article called “Is Virgie Arthur A Grandmother With A Past?“. The article was dated, April 22nd, three days after the blow-up.

During that same April 19th email exchange, I wrote to “R” that in my state, anyone could obtain public records concerning birth certificates.

“R” replied “In Texas birth certificates are held for 75 years before being released to help with genealogy and for 25 years for death certificates…. Yes we have a very stupid law that makes these “protected records”..Yea we are backward and that is a real shame…

Surfing the internet later, I found a Yahoo Group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Alt_Life_Politics/. It belonged to “R”. The post is NOW GONE but I copied it. I copied a lot of things.

Here she is giving instructions to “Art” on how to obtain the birth certificates for the very same family tree information that she told me (read in Part III) “ in fact some professional PI’s are trying to verify this so they DON’T get sued… “

I guess “R” didn’t think that I could add and subtract…..
