A Not So Quiet Departure

We ended our last article with the discovery that the email address Bonnie Stern offered to my moderators belonged to a couple who openly practice the BDSM lifestyle. That would be “R” and her husband.

The researchers had not wanted “R” handling their work. Ms. Stern was well aware of that but offered the email address anyway. When asked, she said that it belonged to “the liaison”. It is safe to say that Bonnie was not above a bit of trickery and deception to keep the flow of information going to “R” no matter what.

Also, remember that Bonnie gave the email expressing concern for Howard’s reputation to “R” in addition to “R” blogging about receiving a phone call about “my” email from the “new attorney” in Lin Woods office. Ben Erwin is who I sent my email to.

“R” had denied ownership of the porn sites but in the past six weeks or so, I had been witness to writings with claims of imaginary members on her blog and charges of harassment that never happened and accusations of causing problems for the Stern family when I had stayed the course.

A person recently posted on my site; “R” has never been given any orders by Bonnie either, as she says and I believe her. Call it orders or direction, whatever you like, but anyone who believes that is wearing blinders. I have already shown it to be true in an email from Bonnie to “R” where she tells “R” and the video man to concentrate on the inquest and let the chip fall where they may with the paternity issue, and more will come with this article.

What is to be believed when one lie after the other is exposed? True, my heart was no longer in it, but I did care about the people that belonged to my website. I saw their hurt when Bonnie started removing anyone that had anything to do with me from her MySpace friends list. I also was starting to receive copies of emails that had circulated between Bonnie, “R” and Krista Barth and even Gary Stern and was surprised at the level of behind the scenes action and all the hush hush that my site was being used for without my knowledge.

Picking up where I left off, the other blogger and I invited the four moderators from my site to a private chat and we told them our findings about “R’s” husbands email address. They were shocked but also amused. Here is a snippet of the conversation that still makes me laugh after all these months.

Pretty shocking at the time. Anyway, I felt that the members should know about this. I know I would have wanted to know. So I told them and boy was I wrong. There was mass hysteria. Some people were upset that it was even mentioned and said, it should have been kept quiet. Others were shocked and left the site never to be heard from again. And some were very supportive.

The moderators were in the chat room trying to answer questions that they had no answers to and I was watching the blog trying to answer questions there and email questions.

Then “b” came out to the blog and posted a very disrespectful post to me calling my outing of what was going on “childish”. That would have been fine for me in an email but not on my blog so I told her to hit the road.

But it was all good. When people wanted to support Howard and stay with a blog owner that did not, I was very touched. However it was not going to work out and I knew it long before.

People could not understand what all of the above had to do with Howard. I did not tell most about the email that “Bonnie wrote from Howard”. Nor did I tell them about the site where I still permitted video to be stored with the lone Bahamian IP accessing it at the same time that *******@ hkstern.com was taking a look. And I certainly did not tell them about phone conversations that I was told about or emails that I was made privy to that showed me that it all had plenty to do with Howard and in my opinion, he did know what was going on.

I wagered that a man like Howard K. Stern does not just hand total carte blanche over to even his sister without offering some guidance and being apprised of current events. And I was correct.

And so, Bonnie sent an email to a member asking her to post on the board that the family did not need or want anymore research done on their behalf. It was also sent in an email to me, the other blogger and the video man. Along with a “thank you”. To me it was a thank you for allowing me to kick you in the face.

The video man emailed his attorney contact at Lin Wood’s office and asked him what was going on. After “VM” told him about the email from Bonnie, he never heard from him again.

I knew it was time to throw in the towel. I didn’t like what was coming out in the press and got to the point that even trying to go through the motions was disgusting to me.

“R” was waiting on her blog with open arms. I knew the liberal blogger’s on my site would get over their BDSM revulsion like they have. Always remembering that Howard’s supporters came to my blog not for me but to support Howard, I closed up shop.

I felt bad for the many people whose feelings were hurt by decisions that I had to make but I felt that I did the best that I could under the circumstances. Some that left and never came back, I will always think fondly of. Several are still so dear to my heart. Others turned out to be vicious, cruel and unreasonable people prone to stalking and bullying like behavior.

As, I shut the door on this outrageous and compelling year of my life, I imagine a small elderly blond grayish woman . She is standing tall with a whip in one hand and a cattle prod in the other shouting “THIS SITE WILL NOT CAUSE ANY ADDITIONAL STRESS FOR THE STERN FAMILY”! She is then rewarded by Aunt Bon Bon wearing a pink tu tu throwing chocolates in her mouth one after the other. The woman then bursts into a hearty rendition of Yankee Doodle Dandy followed by a moving recital of the Constitution of the United States of America.

With that in mind, I will leave you with some true and provable information, as is all the rest of what has been written.
