Where is Caylee?

by Dove on 08/27/2008

in Caylee Anthony

With much appreciation, I am grateful to Einy and Kerry for the hard work they did researching the previous story. Part two is on its way along with other companion pieces. Right now though, several have indicated interest in other mysteries and criminal cases. The one that is gripping the hearts of the American public presently is the story of missing three year old Caylee Anthony. Thank you Dove for this comprehensive overview of a very sad situation.

Where is Caylee?
This has been a question that has been asked over the past month by many concerned people looking for her. Caylee Anthony who has now turned 3 was not reported missing until 5 weeks later after last being seen by her grandmother who made a 911 call.

Her mother, Casey Anthony was later arrested and held with a bond of $500,000.00. She has since been bailed out of jail by a bondsman from California, Tony Padilla.

Anyone following the case has been aware of the twists and turns that are shocking to most and make a person wonder how any mother could allow this to happen to her child.

The mother Casey, to this day says she does not know where her daughter is and claims a nanny has taken her. She has told numerous lies to Orange County Florida law enforcement and has sent them on a wild goose chase to sort out the truth.

Yesterday was a big day for discovery in this case when LE released 400 pages of documents. Today was a confirmation from “The Body Farm” that there was decomposition in the trunk of the car which Casey drove and left abandoned for 16 days.

In the released documents from yesterday Casey’s father George and an employee from the impound yard of the car both witnessed flies and maggots in the trunk of the car when they opened it. There was a white bag of trash (which was taken by LE for evidence) that did contain a pizza box. The grandmother, Cindy had claimed in the 911 call she made that the car smelled like a dead body but then changed her story to the smell of rotting pizza. Yes, my thought exactly..How do you confuse the smell? If you have ever smelled a dead body I have been told you would never forget it.

Reading the 400 pages that were released is an eye opener showing more about what Casey was really like. According to friends of hers, she at some point lied to all of them. She lied about where she worked and told them her office was at home because she was an “event coordinator”. She stole money from a friend’s cash and checks and wiped out her account. She borrowed money from another friend. As for her boyfriends, one of her latest was a sheriff’s deputy who was terminated. He was reportedly linked to Casey before Caylee went missing but told LE he barely knew her and met her at a party. Obviously he was in the wrong line of work because forensics searched Casey’s computer and found chats between them which revealed they had a sexual relationship. Maybe he wasn’t aware they could do that? I don’t know why anyone would risk their career over lying and if he had told the truth he would probably still have a job.

One thing that should be noted which is part of the 400 pages is that Casey wanted to give Caylee up for adoption when she found out she was pregnant. Her attorney, Jose Baez, tried to stop the release of documents but was denied. Even the bounty hunter is having a change of heart saying if he had seen the 400 page report before hand, he would not have posted bail for her. He hasn’t said if he will be revoking it and sending her back to jail or not. Why there is so much cover up and lies in this case is mind boggling. Hopefully we can get some answers to our questions of what happened now that the clock is ticking and more evidence is becoming available. All we want to know is where is Caylee?

That was me that left the brief anonymous post about NG. I was in a rush and just wanted to get that here. I need to get the transcripts because they weren’t there last night.

Most people already know this but just in case they don’t it is here:

Anthony Immunity Deal Expires; Search Continues
George Anthony Visits Orange Co. Sheriff’s Office

The girl’s mother, Casey Anthony, 22, had until 9 a.m. Tuesday to accept an offer of limited immunity to help investigators in the case. Officials with the State Attorney’s Office said she did not accept the offer and it has now expired.

Earlier on Tuesday, Caylee’s grandmother, Cindy Anthony, left her home for an interview on NBC’s “Today” show. She said she maintains her belief that her granddaughter is alive. When she returned home, there was no crowd to greet her. She was not in the mood to talk, but she did say her daughter wouldn’t have accepted immunity because “she doesn’t need immunity. Tell everybody to keep looking for her [Caylee]. She’s alive and we need everybody calling in those tips.”

George Anthony Visits Orange Co. Sheriff’s Office

George Anthony made an appearance at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday.

He pulled in to the sheriff’s office parking lot pulling a billboard bearing the likeness of his missing 3-year-old granddaughter, Caylee.

He declined to talk and left a short time later after he found out the investigator he was looking for wasn’t in the building.

BREAKING NEWS!!

Chloroform (SP) in Casey’s car in the trunk!!!!!! Confirmed by test results!!

Also info found on her hard drive!!!

111 Dove September 3, 2008 at 9:10 PM

There were high levels of a dangerous chemical found in the trunk of the car. It was identified as chloroform. This was on the live broadcast of the news WESH channel 2. It was confirmed by 3 sources. No link yet..

112 Dove September 3, 2008 at 9:14 PM

About chloroform:

Uses
The major use of chloroform today is in the production of the refrigerant R-22, commonly used in the air conditioning business. However, as the Montreal Protocol takes effect, this use can be expected to decline as R-22 is replaced by refrigerants that are less liable to result in ozone depletion. In addition, it is used under research conditions to anesthetize mosquitoes for experiments, most frequently for the study of malaria. In film and television, it is sometimes used in a fictional manner to knock out an unsuspecting victim, leaving no trace.

Sedating Chemical Found In Casey Anthony’s Car
Evidence Collected From Caylee Anthony Searchers

ORLANDO, Fla. — Sources close to the investigation into missing toddler Caylee Anthony told WESH 2 that preliminary lab results show there was chloroform in mother Casey Anthony’s car.

Chloroform is a chemical that was used years ago to sedate patients during surgery.

When Casey Anthony’s car was found, investigators said it smelled like decomposition.

Possibly a new attorney too..

New Charges For Casey Anthony Amid Reports Of New Attorney

HIGH-PROFILE ORLANDO ATTORNEY CONTACTED

Only Eyewitness News has learned one of Orlando’s most prominent defense attorneys, Mark Nejame, has been contacted in the case, but he hasn’t decided if he’ll take it over. Late Wednesday afternoon, Eyewitness News learned Cindy Anthony was meeting with Nejame at his office.

Nejame has decades of experience in high-profile cases. He’s being very tight-lipped about the case. He didn’t tell Eyewitness News why he hasn’t decided whether or not he will take on the case and didn’t say whether or not he may take on the case pro bono.

Mark Nejame and his team of attorneys have been known to represent high-profile cases in Central Florida. In 2004, he represented Jesse Maali. The high-profile I-Drive business man was investigated by federal agents and then indicted on charges of hiring illegal aliens, money laundering and tax evasion.

President of the Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys Richard Hornsby told Eyewitness News that Nejame’s firm would be an asset to Casey Anthony’s defense because he is media savvy.

“If Mark would take over to the Anthony case, it would be a great benefit from both the media and legal standpoint, because you know the right decision would be made,” Hornsby said.

Nejame’s law firm was in the spotlight when he represented Fred Khalilian. Khalilian is best known for opening nightspot Club Paris at Church Street Station with hotel heiress Paris Hilton in 2004. Khalilian was accused raping a girl at his apartment after leaving his nightclub Dolce.

Former city commissioner Ernest Page hired Nejame when he got into hot water. Page was accused of using his city hall position to demand business dealings with a developer.

But Hornsby believes the Anthony case is so big, it takes more than just one attorney to handle it.

“If Mark’s firm were to be taking over, it would be like a team as opposed to a sole practitioner, which quite frankly this case needs,” he said.

Did Gale’s team really find something?

Sources close to the investigation confirmed to Eyewitness News late Wednesday afternoon that preliminary tests show chloroform inside the trunk of Casey Anthony’s car. That is the same place investigators found a hair and a stain they believe belonged to Caylee Anthony and that showed she was dead.

Also late Wednesday afternoon, a cadaver dog alerted on an area in the search for Caylee Anthony just south of the Orlando International Airport. It’s near the same place where search teams have been scouring the woods trying to find Caylee’s body.

Orange County investigators were at the scene Wednesday evening to investigate the discovery made by the Body Hunters, an organization out of Ohio. That group said their own cadaver dogs hit on something, but it was unclear what that discovery may be or if it was connected to the Anthony case.

Todays news:

Bond Posted On Casey’s New Charges, Attorney To Represent Parents

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Casey Anthony was expected in court Thursday to face eight new charges filed against her, but the Orange County Corrections Department said that court appearance was cancelled. The new charges are two counts each of uttering a forged check, petty theft and fraudulent use of personal identification and one count each of false official statement and false reports to law enforcement official.

The Orange County Corrections Department released the following statement Thursday morning regarding Casey posting bond: “Overnight Casey Anthony made bond on the new charges and therefore will not go to initial appearance [Thursday] morning. Bond is satisfied on all of the charges except the charge that carries a $500,000 dollar bail. That charge still holds her in custody. There is no indication of any activity related to the posting of the $500,000 dollar bail and therefore she cannot be released even though bond has been satisfied on the other all of the other charges.”

ATTORNEY SAYS HE WILL REPRESENT CASEY’S PARENTS

There was a big development Thursday concerning George and Cindy Anthony. High-profile attorney Mark Nejame said he will represent them, but not Casey. Mark Nejame told Eyewitness News he has decided he will take on Cindy and George Anthony’s case.

However, he said he has not spoken to the Anthonys so far Thursday, so it is not a done deal. The Anthonys met with the high-profile attorney at his office Wednesday afternoon. Nejame said a friend recommended they meet with him for guidance. He said they did not talk about Casey Anthony.

Nejame said he would not be taking over Casey’s case, but instead would be representing George and Cindy Anthony. He said, if he steps in, he would help deal with the negative publicity.

Eyewitness News also talked to Casey’s attorney, Jose Baez, about the situation and he said he thinks George and Cindy Anthony need an attorney because right now “they are being vilified on TV.”

Eyewitness News asked Nejame if it would be a pro bono case and he would only say he did not want to talk about finances; however there would be some people contributing to the fund.

CINDY ANTHONY MAKES STRONG STATEMENT VIA EMAIL

Late Thursday morning, Eyewitness News received a statement from Casey Anthony’s mother. In an email, she blasts the bounty hunter who helped get Casey released on bond and the organizer of the search organization.

CADAVER DOGS SEARCH FOR CAYLEE’S BODY

Teams looking for little Caylee thought they had a break in the case on Wednesday afternoon.

“The smell was abnormal so we brought the dogs in to see what the dogs thought of it,” said searcher Gale St. John.

The woman, who claims to be a psychic, had two cadaver dogs and they hit on something that could have been human decomposition.

“No one wants to find something like that,” Gale said.

Police and an Orange County cadaver dog searched the area, but it turned out to be nothing. According to investigators, it was a dead animal.

Casey Anthony To Get Out Of Jail Again, Agencies Posting Bond

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Eyewitness News has learned Casey Anthony will be bonded out of jail Friday morning. Two bond agencies, Macdonald Bail Bonds out of Kissimmee and Joe Von Waldner Bail Bonds out of Orlando, are working together to post the $500,000 bond.

The agencies each put up $250,000. At this time, no details are available as to why the two agencies decided to post the bond. Casey Anthony will be on home confinement and monitoring when she is released.

I checked to make sure that report was legit and not misquoted somehow. I am frustrated at this whole circus and I can only imagine how LE must feel. I can not grasp how they would post the bond. I can only imagine that this time she will go to a safe house or I would hope she does. The outrage and turmoil that people are feeling is so apparent it would be crazy to have her go back home. This whole thing has turned into a Casey event and poor Caylee is still missing. I am just sick thinking about this. The longer it goes on the worse it seems to get. The only thing clear is they need to find Caylee and soon.

Casey Anthony Released From Jail, Whisked Home

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Casey Anthony walked out of the Orange County jail Friday morning amid a swarm of media and onlookers. She was quickly rushed away to her parents’ east Orange County home.

Anthony was hurried out of the jail doors accompanied by her attorney, Jose Baez, and at least two bodyguards who bowled their way through the waiting crowd. Baez held his arm around Casey and she buried her face into him as they rushed to a waiting SUV. The SUV was clocked going more than 70 mph in a 55 mph zone as it headed to the house. When it arrived, the SUV pulled into the garage and the door closed.

A handful of people waving signs saying “Rot in Hell” and “Baby Killer” lined neighborhood streets along the route.

“There is one person who could end this thing tomorrow and she’s in that house,” said protestor Jeff Swick. “I feel bad for the parents. They’ve been drug into this thing too… Let’s end this thing tomorrow.”

Cars crowded the street in front of the Anthony’s home, full of people who took time to drive out to the scene. Neighbors resorted to placing yellow tape and “No Trespassing” signs around their yards.

“There’s no protection out here, no one out here guarding her,” said neighbor Bailey Dickens.

Also, early Saturday morning, a source close to the investigation said deputies removed a weapon from the trunk of a car belonging to Casey’ father, George Anthony. Such a discovery on the Anthony property could have imperiled Casey Anthony’s release from jail, but a spokesman for Orange County Corrections said that a judge ruled that Casey presumably had nothing to do with the weapon.

The organization cited environmental conditions and concerns as the reason for their decision. They will resume the search when the ground has dried up or if they receive a tip that they feel needs to be followed up on.

Meanwhile, protestors continued to spend hours in front of the Anthony family home, demanding Casey Anthony tell investigators where her daughter Caylee is.

Just before 6:00 Sunday evening, chaos broke out at the Anthony home when George Anthony was approached by a protestor. Angry that protestors were on his property, George pushed the man. Lee Anthony was able to step in and pull his father away from the dispute.

Sunday morning things were much quieter in front of the Anthony home. Casey’s parents, George and Cindy Anthony, left for church around 10am but without Casey. A steady stream of curious people continued to drive past the house taking pictures and even knocking on the Anthony’s door.

Early Saturday morning, Orange County sheriff’s deputies removed a gun from the trunk of George Anthony’s car. The discovery of a weapon in Casey’s Anthony’s presence could have sent her back to jail. The Home Confinement Agreement, signed by Casey, prohibits her from having deadly weapons in her possession, residence, or vehicle.

Orange County Corrections informed the duty judge of the incident, but a spokesman for Orange County Corrections said a judge ruled that Casey presumably had nothing to do with the weapon. She remains on home confinement.

Friday night Fistfights broke out and sheriff’s deputies were called to the Anthony family home as tensions boiled over between neighbors and people protesting Casey Anthony’s release from jail.

Neighbors are fed up. They said they can’t spend peaceful time outside and their children are forced to stay inside.

Casey Anthony was released from jail Friday for the second time. Anthony, who was wearing a shirt with her missing daughter Caylee’s picture on it, was hurried out of the jail doors accompanied by her attorney, Jose Baez, and at least two bodyguards who shoved their way through the waiting crowd of reporters and photographers. Casey was asked repeatedly where Caylee was. She ignored the questions. Baez held his arm around her and she buried her face into him as they rushed to a waiting SUV. The SUV was clocked going more than 70 mph in a 55 mph zone as it headed to the house. When it arrived, the SUV pulled into the garage and the door closed.

The Anthonys made no comment.

The update for today about the search being suspended might be a very good sign for things to come. I know when reading and hearing the suspension I was very disappointed and confused but I believe there is more to this and we will have to wait to see what happens in the news. Keep the faith and lets hope they found her!

For the love of blogging..lol..Now haven’t we heard of someone else taking trash before? Hmmm..So far I saw someone post from ‘Lorraine’ there were pages from WS..

Woman takes trash from Anthony home

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) — A stranger showed up in front of the Anthony’s Orlando home looking for answers Tuesday morning.

The woman picked up a bag up a bag of trash, which was placed on the curb by the Anthonys, put it in her car and took it home. The woman, who would only identify herself as Lorraine, told us she was a blogger on MyFoxOrlando.com . She said would post her findings online.

FOX 35’s Alexis Brito spoke with Lorainne right after she put the bag of trash in the back of her car.

Alexis Brito: Why are you taking their garbage?

Lorainne: Just in case there’s something in their trash.

Alexis Brito: Like what?

Lorainne: Like papers.

Alexis Brito: And who are you, a detective.

Lorainne: No, I’m just a FOX blogger. I think there might be something incriminating in there. She’s on her computer 24 hours a day, when she’s home and when she’s not in jail so I just thought that maybe there’s print outs or something else.

Alexis Brito:Are you going to go through it or are you going to take it to the sheriff’s office.

Lorainne: I’m going to take it home. Today’s my trash day. So if I take it home, leave it out in the driveway, go through the trash, or put it by my trash can.

Moments earlier, Casey Anthony’s brother, Lee, backed his Mustang out of the garage and escorted Casey to her attorney’s office.

Yesterday, Casey had a brief meeting with her home confinement case manager. During that meeting, a schedule for the coming week was made, detailing that she must meet with her attorney each day.

During her last home confinement, Casey’s schedule included a church visit. Part of her restriction of home confinement is that her home will be visited at least once a week – unannounced – by a home confinement field officer

High-profile lawyer representing Casey Anthony’s parents to make national media blitz

High-profile lawyer Mark NeJame – who is representing George and Cindy Anthony – plan to make a national media blitz Wednesday in effort to get the public’s focus off his clients and on the search for their missing granddaughter, 3-year-old Caylee Marie. Missing-children organization Never Lose Hope Foundation helped the Anthony’s retain NeJame who is working at a reduce rate.

Caylee Marie was last seen in mid-June. Her mother, Casey Anthony, 22, is charged with child neglect, filing a false statement with law enforcement and check fraud. Investigators called her a “person of interest” in her daughter’s disappearance.

Before NeJame headed north, he sat down with the Orlando Sentinel to answer a few questions about George and Cindy Anthony. Check out the interview Wednesday morning on our Web site.

Casey Anthony is being allowed to leave her parents’ house each day this week for six-hour visits with her lawyer.

Casey Anthony Offered More Than $1M To Tell Story
George Anthony May Avoid Charges For Protester Scuffle

ORLANDO, Fla. — WESH 2 has learned about offers of more than $1 million for Casey Anthony to tell her story.

A defense fund is also in the process of being established for her.

A spokesman for Jose Baez said offers have come in as high as $1.5 million for book rights, movie rights, TV deals, even a pay-per-view offer.

“I can tell you just for interview areas alone they can range from $50,000 to $350,000. We’ve even had an offer come from an overseas company that specializes in pay per view and those offers can exceed $1 million,” Jose Baez Law Firm spokesman Todd Black said.

Black said they’re listening to all offers but for now not accepting anything.

“We’ve made it clear to everyone that their inquiry will be put in to a file and we don’t know whether that file will ever have to be opened,” Black said.

Official charges filed against Casey Anthony

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) — The State Attorney’s Office has officially filed charges against 22-year-old Casey Anthony, mother of missng 3-year-old Caylee Anthony.

Casey now has 10 charges filed against her, including grand theft, three charges of fraudulent use of personal identification, three counts of forgery of a check and three charges for uttering a forged check. Anthony will be arraigned on October 2 at 8:30 a.m.

The charges stem from Casey’s friend, Amy Huizenga, reporting to police that Casey stole checks and money from her in July.

The State Attorney’s Office said that these are just formal charges and that Casey already bonded out on these alleged crimes. No arrest will be made.

However, FOX 35′s Shannon Butler was told by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office that more charges – separate from those officially filed Thursday – could come down against Casey.

Those charges would be similar to those she is already charged with.

Jose Baez, Casey’s defense attorney , spoke with FOX 35′s Shannon Butler off-camera Thursday and he said he expects more charges will be filed.

He has asked that the sheriff’s office allow him to turn Casey in to authorities to avoid anymore activity outside her home.

Baez said the sheriffs office told him they will allow him to take Casey to the jail, but he says he is not sure they will hold up to that. Baez says he is ready to bail her out again and said he could have it done in 24 hours.

Something I picked up on, one of the things, is when the detective was questioning her he asked about Caylee being the most important thing to her(not exact words) but Casey never answered him and instead diverted her answer somewhere else. I would think most mothers would be screaming and crying about how much their child means to them but nope, not her, she never even answered him about how important she is to her.

HOW CAN THIS BE EXPLANED??

This all goes back to the day of “finding” the gas cans in the trunk..If you go back to the time line she came home to get some clothes, George went into the trunk and was talking to Casey.

JUNE 24

Report is filed about the stolen gas cans.

TIME: George sees Casey at the house around 2:25/2:30 in the afternoon.

George finds gas cans in trunk.

George was going into the trunk to get a tool because he was going to rotate tires that week end.

George also mentions Caylee is with Zanny according to Casey.

George says Casey tells him she will be back later that night or the next day but still he wants to get into the trunk of car for tool.

THIS is all in the interview with Greta!! He never mentions CASEY was on the computer!

Casey CAN’T be in 2 PLACES at ONCE!!! Either SHE is on the COMPUTER while he is going into THE TRUNK or SHE WAS NEVER THERE!! OR just MAYBE someone is LYING!!!!!!

To “T” on Facebook

Protestors at Anthony house get out of hand

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) — A verbal altercation between George and Cindy Anthony and protestors escalated quickly early Thursday morning.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office receieved two 911 calls to the house. The first call was received by police just after midnight that someone was throwing rocks at the Anthony house.

Deputies said around 14 protestors were outside at the time of the incident. No arrests have been made as investigators continue to investigate what happened.

Casey Anthony placed the second call to police at 1:30 a.m. to advise that her parents had been struck by the protestors.

George and Cindy Anthony came out of their home after the rocks were thrown and became involved in a heated conversation with the group.

With a baseball bat in hand, Cindy and George walked down their driveway toward the protestors and exchanged words.

At one point, a female protestor grabbed at George’s shirt while Cindy attempted to prevent the two from fighting.

Visibly upset, George went and retrieved his garden hose and sprayed the protestors with a steady stream of water.

Deputies witnessed the event, but did not make any arrests or approach the group until the protestors left the area. Cindy and George were seen making a statement soon after.

George Anthony said he plans to file charges against the people who grabbed his shirt and who were throwing rocks and pennies at his house. He also plans to file charges against the person who hit his garage door.

George told FOX 35′s Alexis Brito Thursday morning that his missing granddaughter, 3-year-old Caylee Anthony, is alive and when the truth comes out, people will be surprised.

CASEY’S ATTORNEY MAY HAVE BOTCHED LEGAL REQUEST

It appears Casey Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, botched his legal request to force detectives to stop testing evidence in the case.

Baez filed a motion with the Clerk of Court a week ago, asking for a halt to the lab testing being done by investigators to give him a chance to weigh in on how and where it’s done. Baez claimed investigators might be more concerned with cost and expediency than they are about accuracy and fairness.

The legal merits of his motion have yet to be decided, because Baez blundered by not notifying the judge assigned to the case about his motion. Nor has he asked the judge for a hearing. So his motion sits in the clerk’s office on the second floor of the courthouse going nowhere.

170 QV September 19, 2008 at 12:24 AM

I agree Mish. Casey needs to fess up but those protesters are thugs. They are trespassing and throwing things at the house and it is just not right.
Thanks for the links Dove. Watching NG now. Her cell records do not jive with her story. But that is not a surprise at all. Wonder what ever happened to the remains that were found near the GP’s house? If they have been identified..

171 Mish September 19, 2008 at 1:05 AM

Just watched myself three things stood out to me

1. In the tapes did she say the last time she seen her was the 8th or 9th? Didnt they see each other fathers day?

2. When she made the 911 call about the protestors and she said they have it on tape thanks to the media and home survelance. “Home survelance”?? It struck me funny and the first thought was is she lying again.

3. Zanny the nanny?? Paddia the bounty Hunter says someone showed him a childrens book today with the character Zanny the nanny…….hmmmm.
Casey also mentions a book…….hmmmm

She is nuts plain and simple could she have a split personality disorder? Zanny is her alter ego??
I see how she said more than once that the last time she seen her daughter was with Zanny.

Paddia says Lee(the brother) said the first they heard of Zanny was the past 30 days and now has started saying a year and a half. He is covering her arse.

172 Mish September 19, 2008 at 1:06 AM

Lee gave the phone records to Paddia.hmmmm something does not make sense.

No Mish, not yet but I will. I have been been so busy lately with the real world and need to get caught up with everything.

I was reading your comment of those 3 things that stood out to you. This is my take on them.

1-In the beginning they all said the 9th and then changed it once the video and pic came out of the 15th of Caylee visiting the ggf on Father’s day. They said they got the dates wrong. If you go to the 400 page docs you can clearly see when the pic was taken and accessed on the computer. I might be wrong but it looks like the pic was deleted if I read it right on the second pic page.

State Attorney Reviewing Caylee Trust Fund
Fund For Search-Related Items Has Shut Down

The law firm that administered the trust fund and the bank where the money was deposited backed out in the wake of e-mails criticizing the account. The money was not for Casey Anthony or her family, but for search-related items, Attorney Paul Kelley of Bichler & Kelley PA said. He said the firm can account for all the money.

The State Attorney’s Office is checking to be sure everything is in order, Randy Means of the office said Monday.

Caylee’s mother, Casey, had a brief visit this afternoon with her home confinement case worker, arriving and leaving without talking with the media.

Meanwhile, the homeowners’ association for the neighborhood where the family of the missing toddler lives added Cindy and George Anthony to its complaint.

The Anthonys’ Orange County home has been the site of protests and vigils in recent weeks, but the association wants a judge to place limits on the time and location of the events. Fights have broken out and tempers have flared in front of the home, where missing toddler Caylee Anthony’s mother, Casey, has lived while out on bond.

The amended complaint includes the Anthonys, who are Caylee’s grandparents.

FBI Says This Is Just One Of Many Such Tips

The couple who owns a McDonald’s in suburban Nashville, Tenn., said surveillance photos from July 10 show a little girl who resembles Caylee Anthony, the missing 3-year-old from Orlando.

An FBI spokesman in Tampa said Monday that this is one sighting of many, and none has turned out to be Caylee.

The photos were taken late on the morning of July 10 and show a little girl and a heavyset woman at a McDonald’s in Murfreesboro, Tenn. The owners told authorities there was another woman not shown in the photos who resembled Casey Anthony, Caylee’s mother.

Court records show Casey Anthony is accused of writing a bad check at an Orlando Bank of America just an hour after these Tennessee pictures were taken.

State Attorney’s Office releases documents in Casey Anthony investigation

Documents released today by the State Attorney’s Office show Casey Anthony’s conversations and text messages on the weeks prior to her arrest and the disappearance of her daughter, Caylee Marie.

The nearly 600 pages of interviews between detectives, family and friends, as well as hundreds of text messages from Anthony’s cell phone, show that Anthony spent lots of time discussing relationship woes and planning parties — with little mention of Caylee Marie — as well as admitting to a family member that she was an unfit mother.

The file also shows the lies Anthony told friends and family about the smell of decomposition coming from her car and talk of jealousy stemming from her mother’s affection toward Caylee.
