With much appreciation, I am grateful to Einy and Kerry for the hard work they did researching the previous story. Part two is on its way along with other companion pieces. Right now though, several have indicated interest in other mysteries and criminal cases. The one that is gripping the hearts of the American public presently is the story of missing three year old Caylee Anthony. Thank you Dove for this comprehensive overview of a very sad situation.
Where is Caylee?
This has been a question that has been asked over the past month by many concerned people looking for her. Caylee Anthony who has now turned 3 was not reported missing until 5 weeks later after last being seen by her grandmother who made a 911 call.
Her mother, Casey Anthony was later arrested and held with a bond of $500,000.00. She has since been bailed out of jail by a bondsman from California, Tony Padilla.
Anyone following the case has been aware of the twists and turns that are shocking to most and make a person wonder how any mother could allow this to happen to her child.
The mother Casey, to this day says she does not know where her daughter is and claims a nanny has taken her. She has told numerous lies to Orange County Florida law enforcement and has sent them on a wild goose chase to sort out the truth.
Yesterday was a big day for discovery in this case when LE released 400 pages of documents. Today was a confirmation from “The Body Farm” that there was decomposition in the trunk of the car which Casey drove and left abandoned for 16 days.
In the released documents from yesterday Casey’s father George and an employee from the impound yard of the car both witnessed flies and maggots in the trunk of the car when they opened it. There was a white bag of trash (which was taken by LE for evidence) that did contain a pizza box. The grandmother, Cindy had claimed in the 911 call she made that the car smelled like a dead body but then changed her story to the smell of rotting pizza. Yes, my thought exactly..How do you confuse the smell? If you have ever smelled a dead body I have been told you would never forget it.
Reading the 400 pages that were released is an eye opener showing more about what Casey was really like. According to friends of hers, she at some point lied to all of them. She lied about where she worked and told them her office was at home because she was an “event coordinator”. She stole money from a friend’s cash and checks and wiped out her account. She borrowed money from another friend. As for her boyfriends, one of her latest was a sheriff’s deputy who was terminated. He was reportedly linked to Casey before Caylee went missing but told LE he barely knew her and met her at a party. Obviously he was in the wrong line of work because forensics searched Casey’s computer and found chats between them which revealed they had a sexual relationship. Maybe he wasn’t aware they could do that? I don’t know why anyone would risk their career over lying and if he had told the truth he would probably still have a job.
One thing that should be noted which is part of the 400 pages is that Casey wanted to give Caylee up for adoption when she found out she was pregnant. Her attorney, Jose Baez, tried to stop the release of documents but was denied. Even the bounty hunter is having a change of heart saying if he had seen the 400 page report before hand, he would not have posted bail for her. He hasn’t said if he will be revoking it and sending her back to jail or not. Why there is so much cover up and lies in this case is mind boggling. Hopefully we can get some answers to our questions of what happened now that the clock is ticking and more evidence is becoming available. All we want to know is where is Caylee?

I have not been following this very much but am amazed at the public outcry. I think its good and hope it makes people think twice before they attempt to hurt someone. Especially a defenseless precious child like this.

Concrete results were back from FBI DNA tests on physical evidence found in the trunk of Casey Anthony’s car. The samples, which included hair that investigators said was scientifically linked to Caylee, a stain and dirt, came back positive for signs of decomposition. Investigators said more results were expected from tests done on other evidence but all indications are Caylee Anthony is dead.
The State Attorney’s Office also confirmed on Wednesday that Casey Anthony was invited to their office to shed light on the disappearance of Caylee. The State Attorney’s Office is not revealing details about the offer of limited immunity. Eyewitness News has learned there is a time limit on that offer, however.
This news makes me soooo sad, I truly thought that Casey had “sold” Caylee for drugs {disgusting but at least she would be alive & possibly loved!}

It is very sad, it reminds me of when that Susan Smith killed her two sons to be with the boyfriend. I was like you, hoping by some small chance that the baby was kidnapped or out there with someone.
I just remember that when I heard the grandmothers original 911 call you could tell she was confused and she said that the car smelled like someone had died in it. Very Sad!
If I were the grandparents and I had just found out there was decompose in my daughter’s car and my the baby was missing…I would turn my back on my daughter and help try and find out where that precious child was. I would have been fed up with Casey’s lies. I would be on every media outlet and searching and helping the law. I would call the police and tell them to take her back to jail. I would not forgive her even if she was my daughter. I would be so filled with grief No one would be able to comfort me, How could they all be so calm last night at that house? Do they already knew? Are they helping cover up? I still can’t past a former Police Officer, cleaning out a car that smelled like decompose when his grandchild was missing and the car was left abandoned why would he do that knowing that he was washing away evidence?

Reports Being Disputed
After the test results were announced Wednesday, Local 6 received a statement from Anthony family spokesman Larry Garrison.
It states: “Reports surrounding the DNA of Caylee Anthony are being disputed by the family and their attorney.”
Garrison said he was just told that Caylee has not been found.
The statement also said the sheriff’s department never told them that the University of Tennessee was conducting tests and that has not been confirmed.
The statement also said no plea deal is being discussed.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Leonard Padilla revealed he was beginning work to revoke Casey Anthony’s $500,000 bond on Thursday morning.
Anthony is the mother of Caylee Anthony, 3, who has been missing since early June. She was released from the Orange County Jail last week on bond and faces child neglect charges over the girl’s disappearance.
Meanwhile, results of DNA tests in connection with the investigation were received by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. They’re expected to be shared with the State Attorney’s Office later on Thursday.

Sheriff’s Investigators Meeting Today
12:10 p.m., Thursday: WESH 2 News reporter Bob Kealing is reporting that the Orange County Sheriff’s Office does have the results of the DNA tests on material found in Casey Anthony’s car trunk — they came in last night. He said investigators plan to meet this afternoon at 3 and some statement to the media is possible. Still no word yet what those DNA results show. Casey Anthony’s bond will be revoked Saturday and she will be booked back into the Orange County Jail, bounty hunter Leonard Padilla just told the Orlando Sentinel.
Padilla, the bounty hunter who helped bail Anthony out of jail last week, said he fears for Anthony and her family’s safety.
Padilla also just told the Sentinel he no longer thinks Anthony’s 3-year-old daughter Caylee Marie is alive.

Bond Won’t Be Revoked
In a sudden reversal, the bounty hunter who helped get Casey Anthony out of jail said on Friday that he will not revoke her bond.
Leonard Padilla told Local 6 News that he will not revoke Casey Anthony’s $500,000 bond, a day after he said she would likely be headed back to jail on Saturday.
Padilla reiterated to the media on Friday morning that he would revoke Casey Anthony’s bond but changed his stance about an hour later after a 20- to 30-minute meeting with Casey Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez.
Padilla said on Thursday that Casey Anthony was better off in jail because of safety issues amid increased death threats to her and her family. After meeting with Baez, Padilla said a “security issue” has been worked out.
Local 6 News reported that Padilla, who has not spoken to Casey Anthony, will still not be able to talk to her.
Meanwhile, Casey Anthony has until 9 a.m. Tuesday to accept a limited immunity deal.
State Attorney Lawson Lamar said the deal would not be a get-out-of-jail-free card.
“If we discovered evidence based on what she said, we could bring that evidence into court. We would not be able to say that she told us where to look,” Lamar said. “This came to us when we had even higher hopes of finding her alive.”
Drone May Be Used In Search
Searchers claiming to have better location technology than most police departments, including drone planes and sonar, will launch a massive search for missing Caylee Anthony over the weekend.
One of the people scheduled to be involved in the Equusearch effort will be the mother of missing student Natalie Holloway. Holloway vanished in Aruba in 2005.
Equusearch founder, Tim Miller, said his group has helped with a lot of major missing person’s cases, including the Elizabeth Smart case.
Miller said he hopes to find Caylee alive.
Local 6 News Obtains E-Mails Sent From Casey Anthony To 12-Year-Old
ORLANDO, Fla. — Local 6 News on Friday exclusively obtained e-mails from Casey Anthony, the mother of a missing 3-year-old Orlando girl, that she sent to a 12-year-old girl she befriended since being bailed out of jail.
One of the notes said:
“Hey Sweetie! I can’t thank you enough for everything you have done for my family. I am really looking forward to seeing you. We will schedule something very soon, I promise. I would love to have you spend the night, and spend time getting to know each other. You are such an amazing girl and already a true friend. We are so blessed to have you and your Mom in our lives. I love you. Thank you for my gift (a stuffed animal), I named him after you. I will see you soon. Love, Casey”

And she came out of that Reverend, and people asked her, Are you upset about Casey going back to jail? She said, It`s not happening. Casey`s not going back to jail.
When she was hammering in those signs, she was also giving a little bit of information, as well, too. She said if she was fearful for Casey being out of jail, she would not have Casey in her home. She said there was absolutely no odor in the car when it was towed on June 30, and possibly maybe a body was placed in the car after that. She said that she even went down to the tow yard today and spoke to the gentleman who gave the statement to police, who said that there was this odor, and he said that that — he told her, anyway, that that smell did not start until a week after it had been at the tow yard.
Subpoenas Given; Earlier, George Confronts Pair
4:15: p.m. Friday: Criminal witness subpoenas were handed to out to George, Cindy and Lee Anthony, as well as their neighbor, who Casey borrowed a shovel from. This means they will have to be available for a trial hearing in November.
Earlier, Tempers flared at the Anthony house when two Casselberry citizens set up lawn chairs, an umbrella and a tripod on the grass between the street and the house. When asked what they were doing, the men said they wanted to get video of Casey for themselves. George emerged from the garage and told them to get off his property. When they refused, he knocked over their tripod, threw their umbrella across the lawn. He started to grab one of the men by their shirt, but a neighbor intervened and calmed him down. George then left in his car.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) — Casey Anthony the mother of missing toddler Caylee Anthony, has been taken back into custody.
The arrest Friday night took place just after 8:30 pm from her parent’s home in East Orange County and happened as a large crowd of protesters on the street in front of the home. Casey Anthony was led from the home in handcuffs amid cheers from those gathered outside. She was then placed in an unmarked Sheriffs Office car and whisked from the scene.
No word on the charges but there doesn’t appear that they are charges related to the disappearance of her daughter.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) –Casey Anthony will remain in jail indefinitely.
The mother of a missing toddler was arrested again Friday night — this time on check fraud and theft charges — just over a week after a bounty hunter bailed her out of jail.
Early Saturday morning, the California company that paid $50,000 on the $500,000 bond last week to a Clearwater bond agency to get Casey out of jail on original charges of child endangerment and lying to authorities rescinded that bond.
Tony Padilla the California bail bondsman said the bond was surrendered sometime in the middle of the night based on the latest charges, new evidence and “heightened security concerns.”
Orange County Sheriff’s Office investigators took Anthony into custody at her home Friday night. She was taken first to the Orange County Sheriffs Office then to the jail after she was charged with uttering a forged instrument, fraudulent use of personal information and petty theft, Capt. Angelo Nieves said.
Anthony appeared before a judge on the new charges Saturday just before 12:30. She was accompanied by her attorney Jose Baez. The appearance lasted less then two minutes and Anthony said nothing. The presiding judge set the bond on the new charges at $3000. Baez verbally acknowledged the bond and both Baez and Anthony left.

Looking at the live web cam it is raining down there I wonder how it is going to affect the searching..
Cell phone records show Casey around the Airport at the time of Calees disappearance.. Search is at the airport today.
Beth Halloway(Natalie’s Mom) is helping in search).
The few things I saw about the search today was that the Moss Park search ended in the afternoon because of thunderstorms and that there were around 300 people who were searching. Not too much being reported..
I am thinking out loud because my mind can only take so much info to remember..Anything anyone else can add to speculate with me would be good. I am totally speculating but I don’t think Casey was alone in this after the fact..

George finds gas cans in trunk. George was going into the trunk to get a tool because he was going to rotate tires that week end.
George also mentions Caylee is with Zanny according to Casey.
George says Casey tells him she will be back later that night or the next day but still he wants to get into the trunk of car for tool.

June 27- Car was dropped off at Amscot when it was closed. Casey claims it broke down and ran out of gas.

-Cardaver dog has inconsistent hit according to Cindy in Greta interview at playhouse, sandbox(which has a cover on it) and corner of back yard.
-Shed has handle needed to open the shed.(no prints were found)

The timestamp of the photo with Caylee and Casey’s grandfather was downloaded to her laptop on June 17 at 3:31 pm and was modified at 9:58 pm that same day. The day it was taken was on June 15 at 12:03.
This was part of the 400 page discovery.
Time frame for use of shovel was around 1:30-2:30 according to docs corner page number 347.
During interview Casey said her gas sensor was wrong and she thought she had 1/2 tank of gas when it ran out.

July 15
Cindy went to tow yard and recovered her vehicle .She went thru car and found phone # to friend on a piece of paper on passenger seat and tracked down Casey.
3 Weeks before that she wanted her car back and to see Caylee.
Found the doc I was looking for finally..
Both George and Cindy went to the tow yard. George went with the facilty manager and walked together to get the car. George unclocked the car with his key and the odor was obvious enough for the facility manager to say ‘that is rotten’. They opened the trunk and found flies and maggots. There was a garbage bag which had papers, a pizza box and maggots. he threw the bag over the fence towards the dumpster.
**The gas gauge read empty. ( Casey claimed it said half and was faulty)
** George went to his car to get a can of gas that he had in there to fill it..
( Are you thinking what I am? That man is VERY prepared huh?!)

all show 1995-1998 sunfires having 15 gallon capacity, same tank fits in GM vehicles that include, Buick, Chevy, Pontaic and Olds..
So basically she would have travelled almost 100 miles give or take a few..
Did the tires ever get rotated that week end? And I still can’t find if the cans were empty or full he found them..
Statements from Casey say June 9 was when she last saw Caylee but then maintains it has been 31 days since last seeing Caylee..Cindy and George started with the June 9th date..If you count back 31 days including that day it falls on June 16. It has been about the days not the date and I think the only truthful think she has said IMO.
There’s obviously something wrong with that Mother…she doesn’t seem to be missing her daughter.
This is a depressing story, and it’s not getting any better.
That was interesting about the cost of gas…reminds me of estimates and drug busts.
For the first time on record, investigators said lab tests confirm it’s Caylee’s decomposing body that was in the trunk of her mother’s car.

Just want to update with last nights Body Hunter Team. There was an updated audio posted. The dogs did hit in the area where the CSI team was at with the jet ski. Of course nothing is confirmed as to what it was that was removed. I am totally specualting here but maybe the release of the info confirming Caylee being in the trunk might be so people won’t be so shocked if they announce they found her. This is just incredibly sad..

Officials did not say what additional evidence they have, saying the investigation is ongoing.

Thanks Mish. I saw that about the protesters then saw someone put the links so I didn’t bother. Those protesters were something! I think Cindy is at her breaking point.
IMO nothing Casey says is the truth. I would highly doubt that any nanny around that long would not have met Caseys parents at some point. Not to mention all the stuff a baby needs when you drop them off to a nanny. I am not buying that one.
Mish you are right when you say her story..That is why I started at the beginning. There are just too many inconsistencies. She was online a lot and her post with times and dates are another area that has to be added into this time frame too.
From the docs, she got her tatto on July 2. Another thing, the pic with Caylee and her g-grandf. was deleted on the same day it was downloaded if I read the page right. I have to wonder if that pic was released to the press for a reason.If you look at Caylees face in the pic she doesn’t look very happy at all.

Her husband is a police officer(former) he needs to be telling her the evidence is there.
I know I would not want to believe my beloved grandchild was dead but denial is not helping to find her.

I think everything is going to explode tomorrow. The deadline is 9 am for the deal the state attorneys office made. I am hoping that they did find Caylee and were just doing DNA to confirm it was her along with other test to see how she died. I only suspect this because of what they released today about additional evidence but maybe I am being too hopeful.

Thanks for the link. I was also looking up links ablout the movie and saw something written that caught my attention . Don’t have the link but on one of them it was written ‘doesn’t let down his mask’ or something like that. The movie sounds like it has a complex character.

Going back over the docs again, I notice that Casey’s bf also says the date of June 9 and that is when Casey started living with him…
I wantted to stop in quick and write asomething I heardon NG last night.
NG was talking to a forensics guy (Dr something). He said they can tell if hair comes from a dead body because it has black on the hair it showed a pic of what it would look like.It looked like it was outlined with black. Anyways…..
NG brought up a good point, she said the hair found was found in the trunk, it was from a deceased person AND it belonged to either Casey or Caylee. She then went on to say Casey is alive, the Dr agreed and concluded that with the deduction pretty much we know what that means.

Seen Cindy on the today show. that woman needs a slap, WAKE UP!! Big time denial.
The terible thing is there seems to be more people that care about Caylee than her own family. We sure know her own mother doesnt. If I was able to see casey and say one thing to her it would be “Casey stop being so selfish, FOR ONCE! Bring that little girl home and bring closure.She doesnt deserve this :(
