You found my post! Thanks QV! I ignore Topix pretty much these days. Occasionally there are posters there who want to post about what happened to Anna and Daniel and all these suits, but most of the time it’s just the Branch Rosidians trying to keep the board off topic. They do not want the general public to know just how many support Virgie in her quest for justice.

I do think it’s a shame about the sealed stuff. I just have to keep thinking that we’re going to court in a state that ALLOWS camera’s in the court room. LMAO, I still think a group of us should coordinate a blogger vacation in Ft. Lauderdale, drinking Margaritas, and clicking those keys!

Hi Carole,
I just found your comment. Its up above. This is just my own opinion from what I have seen. I believe you are correct about confidential materials. One thing I do know is in most cases where there is insurance, they have the final say as far as what damages they insure. I don’t think O’Quinn could overrule them if they made a decision to settle because its their money.
Hope your mood is better. Everything will be ok. Pay no mind to the propaganda machine over at Topix. Its all spin. Take care ;-)

Hey QV, I’m in a pissy mood tonight so forgive me if I’m over the edge. But I’m really curious about something. Howie files his response to the Motion for Summary Judgment, and files it under seal because he is including transcripts of depositions that are under seal in NY.

Does this not then reqire OQuinn to repond under seal also because he must respond to Howie’s statements. This effectively stops inquiring minds from seeing what is going on, which I think was Woodie Woodpecker’s intentions all along.

Most of us believe Woodie is desperate to settle, and is pressuring OQuinn’s insurance to do just that, no matter what OQuinn prefers. Then the settlement will probably be under seal, and we won’t know whether the insurance company just caved, or whether Stern has a legitimate claim in the eyes of the law. That sucks!

I’m wondering, should the insurance settle over OQuinn’s objections (and I still believe OQuinn is not afraid to put any of this before a jury), could OQuinn appeal HIS insurance company’s agreement?

I can understand Woodie not getting paid if the insurance doesn’t settle, and OQuinn wins in Florida, because I don’t believe Howie’s ever paid anything unless it’s drug bills.

Sure hope ‘mish’ donates that money to do something good in the world…

Reminds me of when I donated to a ‘coffee fund’ and truth be known…

Gosh, sure wonder ’bout the rest that donated, too!

But I don’t read ‘rag sheets’ and thought it was worth it, once upon a time…

Yet now I realize it really was money that could’ve been better wasted…

What does ‘Server not found’ mean…just an old-fashioned busy signal…

Listening to all those college educated idiots on TV and Radio and you name it…you’d think really they didn’t have a lick of sense…
