I don’t have any details. Below is the consent order (doc 108) allowing more time for Stern to file his dispositive motion etc… and then a “Motion to Dismiss” with prejudice (doc 109) filed by attorneys for Virgie Arthur and proposed order (doc 109-2).

Virgie’s lawsuit against Stern, CBS, ET had no legal basis.
No one knows why all Party’s agreed to the “Dismissal” of the Fed Case including taking care of their own expenses. But this is a hugh developement.
Could be that McCabe found info to lock Stern in on Jurisdiction in the State case. That is where he wanted to be in the first place, not Federal Court !
Defendants just don’t walk away without requesting the Court for the Plaintiff to pay their Attorney’s cost and fees !
Something big just occured to help “boost” State Case. IMO

Yeah right. I just think you Sternie’s are looking for any excuse to ridicule this woman at all costs. Didn’t you ever think that it was a strategic move on her attorney’s part as I believe in a state court you can get awarded more for punative damages?

I think the Federal Case would have been harder to prove, but I won’t say impossible. After all, I think Neil McCabe can almost walk on water right along side Bear Bryant. But I do agree, something has happened in Virgie’s favor to make them want to put all their energy into the State case. I just wish I could figure out what it is.

I see the rose rats are cracking on Judge Lindsay saying she is in McCabes pocket. I guess they are uninformed. A clerk transferred the Harris County case from the 190th district to the 280th which is Lindsays court. McCabe got the consent of all the defendants and filed a motion to reconsider the move. Lindsay denied the motion.

It’s well-known fact that S.Tunstill negotiated Virgie’s media contracts.She also received money from tabloids and TV shows.When i heard that i knew Federal lawsuit had no chance.
It’s very distasteful to talk about money and who got better media contract.

If you want to base your opinions on media hype, ANS fled the country to escape Larry Birkhead. Now he is the new Anna Nicole. He has the baby and a new reality show coming up. Sounds to me that he was more of a threat to her than her mother if the media is to be believed. But now he is top dog behind HKS. So why not let Virgie and the rest of her maternal family be in the baby’s life too so she can have a well rounded environment?
ANS wishes are not being carried out. That can not be used as an excuse.

Firstly, O’Quinn’s job was/is not to “prove” Anna and Daniel were murdered. That will be/is the job of the District Attorney’s office. The O’Quinn Law firm’s “job”, if you will, is to represent Virgie to the best of their abilities, and to carry out HER wishes. Her wish is to have truthful answers regarding Daniel and Anna’s deaths, and any person responsible held accountable. She wants to know and love her granddaughter. I’m sure she HOPES her suit and Rita’s suit will at least put critical information in front of the public, and force law enforcement to look deeper into the deaths of both Anna and Daniel. Lastly, I think she wants to bring her children home.
