I am stunned! I am so glad you wrote an article on this QV because I hadn’t heard of this yet..I heard rumblings of something but I would never expect this. How does this honor Caylee or help find the missing? It looks more like profit to me..and what child would want this doll to play with anyway? How do you explain to a child the story behind the doll? This is the worst marketing product and idea I have ever seen! Ethics and morals have totally been abandoned in this case from my point of view. I could really say a lot more but it be a really long post and I am sure everyone is already thinking the same thing.

Hi Dove! Missed you! Hope you are doing well ….. Yes, I went to the site and saw their message. Now they say they were going to donate 100% of the proceeds to charity. After the fact of course. Im glad they stopped it. The doll hair was blond but the face resembled little Caylee. People are still mourning that baby. That was so inappropriate. Red is covering the Caylee story too on her site. Didn’t know if you noticed or not.

What is your opinion of George? I really feel for the man. It has to be hard for him living with Cindy IMO she is very domineering. She believes so much that Casey is innocent and george is probably tired. Of course this is MOO.
Actually ‘the doll’ idea wasn’t grotesque…at least it wasn’t wrapped in ‘duct tape’ with a ‘smiley face.’

My opinion of George isn’t an easy answer and won’t be short..lol… I can definately sympathize with him for the situation he is in. He must feel overwhelmed with grief and torn from knowing what might be the truth and wanting to know the real truth. He was trying to protect Cindy from the painful reality but he himself was on the verge of collapse from it. The family dynamics are so complex. In some way I can almost understand Cindy’s initial anger, if that report was true, even if it may not be an accepted reaction. She had been supporting him when he was unemployed and dealing with his alleged gambling, again if that report was also true. To her it might seem like the easy way out instead of dealing with reality or confronting it and leaving it all for her. He was suppose to go to a job interview and meet with the attorney. To her it may seem like he was abandoning his responsibilities and leaving it all to her to deal with. I may not agree with what she has done but there are two sides to every story and then there is the truth. The other things I think of is George had thought Casey wasn’t working but never confronted the issue with her. The day with the gas cans in the trunk and she wouldn’t let him near the trunk he didn’t confront her again. His instincts would tell him something was wrong but he never confronted the issues and just went along trying not to rock the boat. It makes me wonder if it was Casey he didn’t want to upset or Cindy? The family is in such pain right now but I think it was already an open wound before Caylee went missing. I think his guilt of not doing anthing or preventing this tragedy whether he could or not is just eating at him. Caylee was the brightest light in that family that kept it together and now without her..it is pretty obvious how devastated they are. I could go on and on about my perspective of what I think but I could be way off because it is just speculation. I really don’t know because I never walked a day in their shoes and would never want to. I just can’t imagine the struggle to want to protect their daughter and find the justice for Caylee. Talk about the burden of truth…

As far as your comments above, it is terrible to be in that position Im sure. I read the (People I was at the Dentist office I think it was people…LOL) Magazine article, The gambling issue was talked about it said George while out of work had ventured into get rich quick schemes.He lost $30,000.00 of the familys money. The article said he told Cindy it was from gambling and to this day(well she will know after the article came out) he never told her it was a internet scam that cost him all that money.
It went on to say that Cindy was very domineering and would insult George calling him stupid in front of people.
It talked when Casey was pregnant they attended the wedding of Cindys brother(the one from the emails) Casey looking very pregnant and Cindy denied it saying Casey would tell them if she was, 2 months later she had Caylee.
When she gave birth Cindy was the first to hold Caylee and reported by JG would often call herself mommy to Caylee. Which got under Caseys skin I would imagine.
Very sad, I also heard that there is a public memorial being planned for Caylee. I hope this will begin to add some closure for George, Cindy and Lee.
I heard tommorow(Tuesday) is the funeral for little Caylee, God Bless her soul.
I also heard that Cindy is making sure that certain people are not allowed in. IMO this is very selfish on her part. This day is not about her its about saying goodbye and paying respect to a beautiful little girl.
IMO what they should have done was the family have their own private funeral. Then have a public memorial for all. Either way my thoughts and Prayers are with the Anthony’s tommorow.
