Bonnie Stern filed her response to Virgie Arthur’s motion for relief of Stern’s bankruptcy stay and today Arthur filed her response.
Neil McCabe, attorney for Virgie Arthur found some problems with Bonnie Stern’s response. Her attorney, Theodore Roberts incorrectly writes “the case apparently involves control of Anna Nicole Smith’s infant child and heir.” McCabe counters that the suit is about defamation and conspiracy. Not about Anna Nicole and baby Dannielynn.
Mr. Roberts also says that Ms. Stern was blindsided without counsel concerning turning her computer over but if you follow this story and read the transcript from the December 11th, 2008 hearing, Ms. Stern’s attorney at the time, William Odgen took a recess and placed a phone call to Ms. Stern where she agreed to have her computer imaged with the stipulation that her business records are protected. Stern’s counsel also choose the “Special Master”, Craig Ball to do the work, a process that takes less than one day. Mr.Ogden even helped draft the paperwork requiring Ms. Stern to turn over her computer.
Its also clear that contrary to Mr. Roberts statement, Judge Lindsay in the Harris County case did not threaten to dismiss the entire action. A standard document generated and adjusted by the court when a bankruptcy is filed says that claims against the debtor will be dismissed if one of four listed actions are not taken. There was never a threat to dismiss the entire case.
A hearing for the motion to lift the bankruptcy stay will be held tomorrow in Los Angeles.

This is done gone too, far now!!!
Tangents are nice, but this is crazy.
Of course, none of this is getting ‘much press now’ so, who cares, right?
Plenty of drugs on the streets, and not enough cops.
And poor Danny didn’t have no good daddy and neither did Anna.
So, guess it was up to poor HKS and Hef…to paint a pretty picture…and a few surgeons and really, special shrinks.
And, not to mention some really fortunate CEO..television executive types…
Reminds me of Kennedy and Monroe…
Gee Row vs ‘WHO?’
Just lost my train of thought.
Oh Well, some things should not be left up to the good government…best council might be just to level with your doc.
And I ain’t downloading no more ‘portable document files’…
And Jane thinks I’m a nusance )sp?
See I can’t even use the keyboard correctly.
But really, sometimes I think that some enjoy that I’m a observer.
Boweavles…(spelling)
Just cooked me some mighty good chicen…gee, look how I left out some commas and a ‘k’…
Anyway….
Looks like forlorn, ain’t no use in trying to keep Anna ‘life like’ …
nither her nor her son, nor her mother, nor Hef, nor the chief mashall…the instrument to all hter fame and glory and aftermath….
What about putting the dead man on trial for what he did?
Gee, might be nice to spare the living.
Don’t you thingk?
I wonder how much these parties have spent on litigation to this point. it has to be coming close to eclipsing the actual money at stake in this bankruptcy at some point…
Stern used bankruptcy to divert the Marshall case and he’s done it again to stall this one. Too bad the courts just don’t his fake stalls out.
Today he stalled in California and will come back to court on the original May 13 court date. His attorney sounds desperate with ignorant comments not pertaining to the charges.
If the death of Daniel and Anna was not so tragic, this would be so laughable. When is Stern going to stop playing the Victim? He was sure licking his chops and I would like to know where Dr. E. got the money for the facelift? What a pathetic bunch of wasted mankind. Kristina doesn’t even have sense enough to stay in Fla. and try to cut her losses.
She will learn soon enough that the state of California won’t bow down to bribes, threats or tomfoolery filled lies.
I meant Krista Barth should stay in Fla. What a bunch of losers.
