After introductions by Geraldo where he called Howard K. Stern and the doctors Kapoor and Eroshevich “bums”, and announced the trio is going to trial for “feeding” and “pumping Anna Nicole full of the drugs that killed her”, brother Craig Rivera had a short interview with Virgie Arthur.
Mrs. Arthur, looking lovely and slender but sad
and battle worn, believes the three are guilty. She said the doctors made it possible but Howard K. Stern was the one who kept giving the drugs to her daughter.
Mrs. Arthur, retired after a 28 year career as a police officer said, “you don’t help a drug addict kill themself. If you love them, you help them get off the drugs. Anna was wanting help. No one gave her any.”
Craig Rivera asked her if Anna had a history of seizures. Mrs. Arthur said she spoke to the doctors and she was told that all the meds that Anna Nicole took would cause the seizures.
The conversation turned to granddaughter Dannielynn, the baby who Mrs. Arthur says is her only link to her deceased daughter and grandson.
Rivera asked her opinion of Dannielynn’s father, Larry Birkhead. Mrs Arthur said that same thing many of us have been thinking and saying and that is that Birkhead needs to get a job and someone needs to be appointed to look after Dannielynns interests.
Amen to that!
The infamous clown video? Mrs. Arthur; “even the little girl knew my daughter needed help”.
Craig mentioned the sudden and unexpected death of attorney John O’Quinn who has been Mrs. Arthur’s “knight in shining armor”, since he came to her assistance at the Florida burial trial after Anna Nicole died in February of 2007. He also verified as we did here that in his wisdom, Mr O’Quinn made provisions so that Mrs. Arthur can continue her
for justice with the full force of the O’Quinn Law Firm and her attorney Neil McCabe behind her.

QV, Virgie looked WONDERFUL last night. The interview was obviously taped before the tragic loss of John O’Quinn, and it was delightful to hear her tell Larry to get a job. It was also obvious that she yearns to be close to Dannielynn, and I pray that happens for her soon. I also pray that November does not hit us as hard as October did.
I just want to say Virgie is beautiful lady just like her daughter. Larry should be ashamed of not working and not letting DL see her grandma. Nobody takes the love of the grandparents away from a child.
Dannielynn will be perfectly fine without Virgie. She has other family. Virgie ain’t that special.
Well, the interview was taped early yesterday at the law firm.
I would say that it was too soon to speak publicly of Mr. O’Quinn for Virgie.
As females, we are made to be more emotional than our male counterparts. Not to say that men are not emotional as well.
I actually admire a man who will let himself feel his emotions. To me tears are healing and help wash away the pain. However, I would not want to do that for the whole country to see.
I’m glad Craig Rivera spoke for her. He told the world how Mr. O’Quinn has been a knight in shining armor for her.
Anonymous2, all grandmas are special. I miss mine so very much. I would not trade anything in this world for my memories of my childhood with my Mammer as she was so fondly called. She lived in Pennsylvania and I spent six weeks with her every summer. Those were some of the best times of my life.
Mrs. Arthur has other grandchildren who totally adore her and I’m sure Dannielynn’s childhood would be so much richer if she could be a part of her grandmas life.
Hi everyone. I have been out of touch for a while and when I got on my computer and read that Mr O Quinn had passed away I was sick at my stomach. I feel like we’ve all lost a friend.
Does anyone have a picture of Mrs Arthur from last nights show? I’d love to see her.
Hi Lucy. She looks fabulous. I hope someone somewhere was able to get a recent picture too. She did so good under the circumstances.
Look after Dannielynn’s intrest huh. That is what yhis whole thing has always been about. And Vergie want to be the one [since Oquinn is gone]. That is why that law firm took the case in the first place. Sorry, but you all cannot forget what transpired in the beginning. We all saw it and heard it right from the horse,s mouth.
I totally agree that Dannielynn’s life would be better if her Grandmother was an active part of it. Larry is an insensitive and uncaring little jerk to keep them apart. I’ve never thought he cared one whit about that child other than to live off her.
I’m not saying Virgie wouldn’t add anything to Dannielynn’s life but don’t make it seem like Dannielynn with be horribly traumatized because Virgie wasn’t part of her life. And you don’t know that Virgie’s other grandchildren adore her. Virgie may be a great grandma, she may not. How would we know?
I believe Virgie said SOMEONE should be appointed to look after her interests. Apparently her father is living off the proceeds of her appearances. That would alarm me.
No one would pay for just Larry. Dannielynn is who people want to see so a large percentage of any money paid out should belong to her. A guardian ad litem should be appointed by the court to make sure there is something left for her in a trust fund. What would be wrong with that? And that is what Virgie would like.

Anonymous2, (I wish these comments had numbers). I don’t see where anyone said the baby would be “horribly traumatized”. And please don’t assume what I do and don’t know.
Actually, Anony 2, I’ve spoken directly with her grandson David, and he clearly adores her. I wouldn’t think he’s the only grandchild to do so. In his words “She’s awesome. I wish everyone could know the woman I know.”
Virgie looked great and did very well in the interview. She is a wonderful grandmother and would be a asset in Dannielynn’s life. She is DL blood and obviously has many of her traits. Dannielynn needs her mom’s mom it’s about identifying with her.
I feel so sorry for Dannielynn because of all the people in this world who understands her the most she is denied that love. It is horrifying to realize and why Larry is doing this to his child is beyond my comprehension. He has obvious control issues and it is not looking out for the best interest of the child. Anyone who understands human emotions can see how much Dannielynn is like her mom’s side of the family and to deny a child the feeling of being able to identify with someone is cruel and self centered.
The reality is that Larry is the one concerned about controlling the assets, NOT Virgie. Virgie clearly stated her intention about her granddaughter’s assets. It was a bill of lies sold to some by the stern camp that Virgie only cares about the money.
Okay then. Virgie is a good grandma. I don’t know why I came off so harsh, I guess I just want people to know that Dannielynn can have a great life even with everything that’s happend. Anyways I wouldn’t say that Larry is being an insensitive and uncaring jerk like someone said. He has a grudge against her. And we’ve all had grudges and sometimes we’re too stubborn to get over them. It’s obviously not acceptable and he’s being immature but Virgie did have him in custody battles which clearly he did not like. Regardless, it’s no reason to keep Dannielynn’s grandmother from her. But even though it’s true, Larry doesn’t like to hear that he needs to get a job and have Virgie questioning his parenting. So I don’t think he’ll be letting Virgie see Dannielynn any time soon. Actually the reality is that Dannielynn may very well never have Virgie in her life. Harsh but true.
TV…QV…
Websites and Advertising…
Bah Humbug!!!
“It’s what you feel, and what you touch.”
I’ve convinced myself…
Yet I still wonder ’bout OJ…and the over-coverages of children that have passed by some mysterious, unfortunate (yet lucritive (sp?) air…
I sure hope there’s a power source behind ‘THE MEDIA’…although they seem to deal in UNKNOWING…
I’d hope, or rather like to think…
There is a greater plan.
TV isn’t so bad. I just got to look at Lorenzo Lamas all growed up and looking nice being a daddy to his children. We would not have known of Anna if not for TV. Magazines too.
Candy and sweets.
Hope you had a happy Halloween!
Even ALS?
everything is beautiful ray stevens
Might be time for a rest…rather than unrest forced.
My Grandma was, and My Grandpa was somethin’ else.
Together they made a pair unmatched.
Perfectly not suited, yet perhaps.
They had 4 little girls and it’s just amazing that that old man didn’t have no Viagra.
It was a simple, stunning relationship…
He liked to fish, and she liked to cook and eat liquorice.
They had some neat, old antiques and when they passed don’t you know instead of their little girls getting together and remembering their parents…those little girls were mostly interested in what else, other than…
Some really cool antiques.
I agree with Mary in thinking that Larry has serious control issues. When you look at some of his unsavory acquaintances and see that he sees nothing wrong with them being aroud Dannielynn, you just have to wonder what his reasons would be for denying her the love and companionship of her grandmother.
Of course I am probably not alone in thinking that if he was much of a man he wouldn’t have been getting a drug addict pregnant in the first (and second) place. I question his sincerity in wanting the very best for the little girl. I think he wants the very best for himself and she happens to be his means of getting that. I wonder if he’ll still be hauling her around on his hip when her feet drag the ground just so that there’s never a picture snapped that doesn’t include him and his greasy hairdo.
Gee, I think Larry danced through some loops and now I ‘Hope’ he knows better how to tango.
Bet he loves that little pumpkin more than we’ll ever know…and maybe he was committed to honoring ‘A Mother’s Last Wishes’…
Yet, now he’s ‘The Man’…
Instead of ‘That Kid!’
Larry has befriended the one responsible for the death of DL’s mother. He has allowed that friend to control him as well as DL’s money.
Larry at one time spoke of what a swine Stern was and YET, when money was waved in his face, he did an about face. He’s too unstable to parent a child and does put her in bad company and surroundings.
He should be forced to tell the truth about Daniel’s death instead of that mealy mouth pro-Stern drivel he sniveled at the inquest.
“Give Me A Break” Mr. DIBBS, LOL.
But, the dream, and mystery, and drama and misery…
Just keeps bringing me back.
Is it nonfiction or Memorex…what was that commercial?
I think ‘The Mainstream News Media’ kinda’ stopped ‘cold turkey’…once they knew the public was catching on…but, I took the bait and now “I’m A Believer.” (lol)
Who was John Ramistella, really?
And maybe most of the junk I find searching or rather ’surfing’ this internet ‘thingamajig’ is ‘is’ really.
Reminds me of the “Wizard of OZ.’
But I don’t believe in DOCs…
‘cept maybe for bugs.
T’was a hare.
Don’t much believe in pills or vitamins neither, nor that that ‘organic’ (label) is better.
I’m pretty much contented knowing that I’ll never figure this out.
Just thought again that I could probably ‘reword’ that on a more ‘positive note.’
I’m pretty much contented…
Knowing Hope was meant to be, and that although there will always be some tragedy…
Must be some purpose to life under the heavy weight of space, I guess.
Good night, and sweet dreams.
And thanks, QV for letting me make comments (tell ‘The Devine’ Mysterious Devin I said, “Thanks and That’s Just Fine With Me.”)
Reminds me of a cute comment my daughter once made ‘outloud’…
She said, “You’re Not The Boss Of Me!”
I’m sure, absolutely positive Virgie was a “Pretty Baby,” too.
And I’d almost bet money that behind the scenes she’s giving her grandchild wet, slobbery
es!
But then what do I know (lol).
