Accentuate The Positive

I was listening to Dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein,  talk about Michael Jackson to TMZ’s  Harvey Levin. Ugh. Enough of that.

Then I caught the news about the tragedy at Fort Hood Army Base in Texas where so far 12 people have been killed and over 30 injured. One of the gunmen is dead and two taken into custody have been released while families all over the country undoubtedly are anxious about news of their loved ones. Remember the Fort Dix Six that got stopped before it even started? I guess we’ll find out soon enough if this is similar and the work of extremists.

Baby_ShannonThen I saw some good news. And the above phrase for some reason came into my head. Last time I heard that phrase I was a little girl and some Bugs Bunny cartoon character with a Jimmy Durante voice was singing the song that goes with it.

The positive today is that missing  7 month old Chipley, Florida baby, Shannon Dedrick was found alive. Her mother reported her missing but apparently had given the child to the babysitter who hid her under a bed in a drawer while authorities and volunteers searched for the baby for five days. The police had been questioning the babysitter for 12 hours. The baby was under the bed for that 12 hours but police said she seemed to have been taken care of.  Except for that 12 hours. But she is found and she is safe. The policeman who was holding her and other officers were driven to tears. Its nice to know these men and women who have seen so many horrible things can still be moved in this way.

Also in Florida. Here is some more good news. A 24 year old inmate jumped a 64 year old corrections officer and had him in a choke hold that would have broke his neck if not for being rescued. Who rescued him? Other inmates. Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Clause. :-)

Hey, though seems that “What’s My Line Guy” is doin’ better than Jack(son) in the Box or (Dan)rather than at the Hollywood Office (reminds me of another movie title and a restaurant).

Anyway…

Bah Humbug!!!

LOL

“Good News” could sell…it’s just up to ‘The Secret Agents.’

LOL

Thanks for posting that QV. It is nice to see some good news. That little baby making it 12 hours in a box story brought tears to my eye’s.

I watched Dr. Arnold Klein interview with Harvey Levin too. Some things are very interesting but other parts make me really wonder about this guy. He said he seen MJ 5 or 3 days before he died but then said he seen him 6 weeks before MJ died????? He says MJ didn’t have needle marks on him. He brags about how great MJ looked in the “This Is It” movie. Have you seen the movie? I did and wow some parts MJ just looks not right. I’m not talking about just age changes either. I did not see MJ do any of his famous spins. He didn’t moomwalk when he did Billie Jean, and it just didn’t seem like MJ was up for 50 shows. No way!

Jackson Doctors at War
Posted Nov 9th 2009 4:25PM by TMZ Staff

Michael Jackson’s two warring doctors

are going at it again … Dr. Steven Hoefflin just accused Dr. Arnold Klein of being a lawbreaker for the things he said last week on TMZ Live.

Hoefflin — who performed numerous procedures on Jackson — says he believes Klein may have violated federal controlled substance and trafficking laws, since “…he knew Michael was a narcotic addict yet he repeatedly injected him, probably with others in his office assisting him, 51 times over three months with a minimum of 100mg of Demerol and charged him a large amount of money.”

Hoefflin added, “Other Dermatologists use topical and nerve block anesthesia and not repeated Demerol shots.”

Hoefflin also accused Dr. Klein of violating the Federal HIPPA laws “by disclosing health care information on Michael Jackson without permission.”

Klein and Hoefflin are suing each other.

Dr. Klein could not immediately be reached for comment.

Hi Larryis. Sure its ok. So two Michael Jackson doctors are suing each other. Stop the world, I want to get off. Crazy, lol! That Dr. Klein is an idiot and seems to be into self promotion.

I don’t know the Jackson case real well like most of us know about Anna and Daniel but it seems as if there were so many leeches and hangers on and not too many real friends.

Now Papa Joe is asking for money??!! OMG! He says Katherine was giving him money so he should be able to take from the estate. I think that’s the last thing that MJ would have wanted. I hope he is denied. What goes around comes around and all that.

I didn’t see the movie. I figured I would wait until its out on DVD. I’m anxious to see it though. So he didn’t look good eh? Well at over 50 and him being mostly retired and probably out of shape even though he trained, I still think it was scandalous to expect him to do 50 shows. He had Lupus and that is a seriously bad disease. If you look at some of his pictures when he was younger, you can see the butterfly type rash on his cheeks. The autopsy said his lungs were not in good shape either.

I think its sad he wanted to impress his children and they never got to see a live show and they never will. I do think its nice that a separate show was set up for them to view in private.

I’d like to see and read Howard’s eulogy in HD.
