I said I wasn’t going to get sucked in to the literary hysteria caused by a series of books about Vampires. I rolled my eyes every time I entered a store and saw posters and merchandise, much like I do when I see Miley Cyrus junk everywhere.
I think the thing that struck me first about the phenomenon is when I saw a website called “Twilight Mom’s”, complete with forums. I easily found another forum that states its for age 18 and over. I couldn’t imagine what would draw a bunch of mothers of teenagers together with their common bond being an interest to discuss the four book series by author Stephenie Meyer.
Then, my youngest daughter showed up on one of her regular trips home from school and started talking about the “Twilight Series”. She gave me an overview of the four books, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, said she had devoured all four books equaling 2379 pages plus, within two weeks despite full time classes, working and studying.
New Moon had recently hit the theaters so we went. The movie was ok but I felt a bit lost because I had not seen the first movie, “Twilight” so I went to Walmart and picked up the first two books in paperback. I was hooked.
The main theme of the series is a 17 year old mortal girl “Bella Swan”, played in the movie(s) by Kristen Stewart who falls in love with “Edward Cullen”, (played by Robert Pattinson) a vampire frozen in time also at age 17. Edward falls for Bella too, although when he first encounters her, the vampire wants nothing more than to kill Bella because her scent is the sweetest and most intriguing he ever encountered in his 100+ years as a vampire. Edward also has the gift of being able to read minds. That is, he can read everyone’s mind except Bella’s and that fascinates him.
There is a second love interest for Bella though. “Jacob Black” portrayed by acting newcomer Taylor Lautner, is an old family friend whose Native American Quileute Indian tribe has vowed to protect humans against the Vampires. To be able to do so, “Jacob” and those like him can morph into powerful wolves with magical strength and power. Jacob thinks its an old tribal legend until it happens to him in “New Moon”.
Even though “Edward” and his vampire clan “The Cullens”, are blood drinking vampires, they also have a human side and consider themselves “vegan” vampires. In that, they refuse to drink human blood and even though its tempting to them, they subsist on the blood of animals only.
Its a heck of a magical, mystical love story and the literary artistry of Stephenie Meyer is second to none for a fantasy series. Meyer had started a book based upon “Edward’s” telling of the story as the first four books are told by “Bella”. Meyer called it “Midnight Sun” but someone who she released an unfinished draft to, leaked the twelve chapters and it went viral on the internet which is a shame. Reading the saga of Edward and Bella leaves those romantic at heart clamoring for more but Meyer says on her website that she feels the story no longer belongs to her and has no plans to finish that particular book.
I recently watched the first movie, “Twilight” and I was disappointed. The direction and production of the movie was in
a word, “cheesy”. It’s a good thing the book author’s talent carried her series and it did not have to depend upon that poorly made film.
“New Moon”, the movie was directed by “Chris Wentz” and was made much better. I am looking forward to “Eclipse” which is due to be released this summer. “Breaking Dawn”, according to Stephenie Meyer will probably have to be made into two movies since the book is over 700 pages and it would be impossible to cover the complexity of the story in one.
I think the movie casting of British actor, Robert Pattinson is the most brilliant. He manages to play smoldering, tortured, dangerous, hopelessly romantic and sexy all at the same time and does it well for a young actor.
I’m hopeful Stephenie Meyer feels the urge to continue her dream inspired series when she again feels motivated. I truly enjoyed and am looking forward to more. But shhhhhh, don’t tell anyone…

Kudos Kudos!!!! Edward Cullen (NOT necessarily Robert Pattinson) will be the object of every girls fantasy for decades to come!! It’s an AMAZING story. Although i’m sure every reader imagines RP’s face as Edward when they are reading…including myself…Who couldn’t though?? Stephanie Meyers herself says that when RP is in makeup/character, he is the way she saw Edward in her head before the movies were even thought of!
This reminds me of “Pimp My Ride”…
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uniform_Resource_Locator#Absolute_vs_relative_URLs
However the someone (possibly plural) that responds to my comments keeps me coming back.
Fun to explore…and I’m not much into vampires anymore, however once-upon-a-time I enjoyed the adrenalin ride of a good horror flick and that Dracula scene with Winona Ryder was pretty awesome and sexy.
My husband enjoys racing cars, but mostly drives a desk, and doesn’t like scary movies.
Yet what’s the difference really?
Kinda like cats and dogs…both are carni-vors (just instantly reminded me of a side show).
Anyway I think entertainment is a lot more fun when it’s fiction.
Fast cars are far more scary…reminds me of death, or great bodily harm.
At best a movie might give someone a heart attack, or a heart ache, or a heart throb…
Thanks GP, or you could even be PV :-)?
That’s a great bit of trivia that I had not heard. RP is perfect for the part and I believe you are correct. Although Edward is the romantic hero, since he is portrayed so well by Pattinson, his fans naturally transfer their admiration to him. I read one interview where he says when there are fans around, he mostly hears them calling him his characters name.
I noticed in Twilight that Stephenie Meyer plays a tiny part. She is in the diner the second time Bella and Charlie go there to eat. Its when the waitress asks Charlie about the second murder. I sure hope Meyer gets the urge to continue the series or at least finish “Midnight Sun”.
P.S to QV’s No. 1 Fan, have you heard the full version of “Bella’s Lullaby”? The piano music is beautiful.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoBoeg-oyBA&feature=related
lol….different strokes for different folks. I read the first book, TWILIGHT, and felt like I was reading a book for teenagers. It just didn’t have the bite or flava I felt Vampire books should have.
However, my sister, who is 40 something is rabid over Harry Potter and she is part of a Potter blog that produces hot hot stories about his love life. LMAO…
Me? Give me Mr Spock, Captain Kirk and Doctor McCoy (especially the ones in the latest movie) any day of the week and I’ll show you how to get a warrant for kidnapping. Meow!
You know it’s good when young people are listening to classically inspired music…but they really think they like RAP more better (lol).
Hello QV and Happy New Year !!
I missed you. I thought I would pop in to see what was new and to my excitement TWILIGHT?NEW MOON !!!
You bet Moms love the Twilight series. I went so far as to camp out at a local mall to get a conveted braclet to meet some of the stars.
My daughter is a huge fan , Team Edward. Though at the end of this you will know where my heart is.
We arrived at the mall the night before around 10:30 pillows, blankets, snacks and of course cameras in hand. At that time we were 140th or so already there. Only 500 braclets would be handed out. The Mall and the store hosting the event made it exciting and fun.
Staying up all night talking with other young girls who shared their pictures and stories of having met the stars previously made it more exciting. I think I might have slept one hour. At 8 AM the store started lining people up and we recieved our braclets.
Being so keyed up and adrenaline pumping we couldnt sleep when we got home and it being Halloween we didnt sleep until much later that night.
My daughter and yes myself included could not wait to go back on the date to finally meet the stars. We waited in line only to find out Ashley Green who plays Alice Cullen would not be there. She was called back to Canada to re shoot scenes. We met face to face and got autographs with Kellen Lutz who plays Emmett Cullen. What a personality, he made each and everyone feel comfortable and took the time to talk one on one. My daughter had fake vampire teeth in and he talked to her about them asking if they glowed in the dark. Also telling her how he likes to scare his little brother with the ones he has.
My turn thats when I changed his eyes, his beautiful eyes. I told him he was great in the movie and couldnt wait until New Moon. THEN ! from somewhere came my courage. I told him that a friend of my sons was team Jacob but still wanted to lick his face. I messed that one up and told him I wanted to lick his face. His eyes got wide and glittery. He smiled bright dimples and all and said “Now that would be nice” Then chuckled. I needed to get out before I embarrased myself further. My friend that was with me just sttod the whole time with a shiat eating grin on her face. She could not say one word, she was standing on her tongue…..lol
When the personal meet and greet was over it was an open Q&A. So many screaming young girls and yes Moms too. After this day it is when I changed from Team Edward to Team Emmett. Still the same family the Cullens and I still think Edward is Hot.

I cant figure how to post my photos. This one here is enough to make you lift your bottom lip up to stop the drool from frying your keyboard

Dear QV, Mish, Carol…who the whatever or wherefore?
For the ‘most part’ my comments are ego-tistic-o-less-ness, I guess.
Fun to type and write and unless formal, words are too more.
We need drama, like the heart needs the brain.
Otherwise we’d just function and exist on this tiny blue dot revolving in space.
No doubt I could have done better writing and living my life for that matter. but I did what I did, and I’ve done what I’ve done, and I ain’t done yet.
SO THERE!!!
AND I KNOW THIS DOESN’T TRULY MATTER…but having me some fun does.
Are there any animals in this ‘Picture Show’…like there were in that other Dracula fashioned flick…
The world ain’t so bad, so long as the greedy give to the needy!!!
And, “That’s Just The Way It Is,” I guess….’cause even those that save and make their fortunes, and invest, and make themselves ‘invisible’…then think they know it all, or profess that they are Thee…then still wonder, what the heck…but would never admit it.
Did they actually do the digging of them their bones and build, or resurrect the Dinosaur with those fossils…or do they just believe the ones that did?
Can you look an animal in the eye and tell the difference?
Carole, I had to keep on reading. I devoured one book after the other and I stopped reading fiction a long time ago because it was boring to me. It’s a mystery to me as to how it held the series held my interest and I still would love for it to continue.
Hey, Mish you know that love, that true sorta’ biological need that created Daniel…was a fry-daddy too, no doubt…but they needed dough….or batter.
And didn’t, but really thought they did tin order to make it last and last.
So much for words and fireworks and music!!!
I like this real life mystery, like I know I can but don’t, or couldn’t or didn’t but can and I still have a little future(s) left.
My dog thinks (I think) she’s a cat, or maybe she need to know what’s in that can I feed her…
And, tooele with a budget…never t’was up to me had no college under my belt…could be sexist, or not.
Maybe I have a muscle in my brain along with a heart…and cooking is still cheaper than all that plastic and cardboard junk…seems dogs, like man, think beef is better than fish and fruit and vegetables….
Yet the plastic manufacturing system is in place along with silicon ‘chips’ and ‘credit cards’…some even charge their educations depending on those institutional degrees and the likes of Obama and/or Bush or even Clinton.
“You Want Fries, Slaw or a Tater on the side?”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmxUeKIdkKI
Fed my dog some aka salmon cat food tonight.
Looked into or at some ‘organic’ and ‘people food’ labels.
Table food
It’s almost a good feeling I get when one of my comments evaporates.
Actually, it really is!!!
Either I feel it’s being destroyed or contemplated or at the very least in limbo someplace.
Once again we thought we couldn’t trust a woman to have ‘the muscle’ to do the job or take the lead…so we (not I) voted for another man, no matter his color his name is Obama.
Next time it will more than likely be portrayed like some sort of cat fight with a couple of Mrs….
And we won’t second guess or take a double take….and wonder who makes plastic.
I forgot what I was going to say or type.
Oh yeah…PBS has some really depression thing on television…and It’s so realistic, yet shouldn’t be…
Plenty of stuff to be happy for…you’ve just got to remember when you had the chance?
I really can’t remember what I was going to type, might as well admit it.
Probably, more than likely wasn’t important.
Aw Mish!! LOL!! I loved your story. That was great. I loved Alice’s character and Greene is a doll, but am glad you were happy with her replacement.
I like Alice and Jasper and Carlisle too. I guess everyone has their favorites. You have pictures? This thing does not let you post pictures but if you have some you want to share, I would love to post them. And I cant NOT believe you said that to Kellen. You rascal you!! I bet that was lots of fun. You at least have to let me see your pictures. Pleeeeeese….LOL!!
Mish its amazing that you got to meet some of the stars!! i’m super jealous…cute story!
Hi Freida. The “picture show” is in its infancy. I need to load a whole bunch more. When someone comes to the page, its supposed to show a different picture so it will be nice to have a variety.
About your comments, at least you know “someone” is reading them.
That sounds like a chore!!!
Oh dread!
You need a little background music here…that no one would notice.
Something subtle yet rich.
…this must be slow poke chat, “I like it Like That!”
Great movies always have the greatest score!!!
This. must’ve been one of those ‘one hit’ wonders…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvHKjDKY_O8
Yeah I am a slow poke but this time, I’m also multitasking :-)
This might explain something…
“Hormones in oral contraceptives might suppress a woman’s interest in masculine men and make boyish males more attractive to her.”
Freida, is that true? Interesting if so..
Did you notice the word ‘might?’
Now, I’m gonna’ proceed with filling out another rebate form…and make some photo copies…and then, I’ll probably get some kind of rejection that I’ll deal with later down the road.
Reminds me of a song.
Here’s to multitasking…Bah Humbug!!!
Yes I did notice the word “might”. Didn’t know if it was your word or if it came from somewhere else. Personally, I think oral contraceptives/ hormone supplements can really wreak havoc on a woman’s system so your statement caught my attention.
So you think oral contraceptives may have helped create the “Cougar” thing? Older women – younger men?
When I first got to this page there was the cutest pic of a white fluffy dog running!!! Love the picture show! Maybe if Winifer is good enough she could have a slot in the picture show.
Well, as a matter of fact…that’s a deep subject.
Hope you’re not burning your candle at both ends.
Gosh that could be misconstrued.
What I actually meant was hope you get enough sleep.
Women are always ‘catty’ I guess…and what does that make a man?
Another baby born….tick tock…can’t you just hear that biological clock.
Anyways…I got to play with a 9-week old Yorkie yesterday, and called her ‘Precious’…and she doesn’t have a name yet.
Did you go to college, did you get a degree, do you like to write or draw or sing?
Do you believe in the Television Evangelical that wants YOU (reminds me of Uncle Sam) to tithe?
Or would you rather put relics together like a puzzle and pronounce that ‘That is’ fact ’cause ‘See’ this is what ’twas?
Fact is you can have thousands of pages of text and just one word can deflect all the rest…or make the point meaningless.
Reminds me of legal ‘Lango’…invented to not amend yet to ‘confuse’ some other end…amen
I guess!!!
I talked to my plumber today…mighty good man!!!
He’s got a good wife that compliments him and she not only takes care of their children, ‘the books,’ and everything else…she’s got another job.
Just makes me ache.
Silence is golden.
That was something under my breath, ’bout a letter….it’s an inside joke.
Anyway I’m wide a awake at 5am and, so I must be some sort of vampire.
I want trifocals…for the option of looking up!
Just thought I would reword, edit or amend my previous ‘comment’…
By the way, my parti-cular use of the word ‘compliment’ was wrong.
And I still have trouble pronouncing ‘Intreped-manure’….see, I can’t even spell it.
Must be a mental block.
So nice to see someone else ‘do it’…I mean succeed without malice or greed…well, of course you’ve got to eat.
Yet, a nicely produced ‘picture show,’ with fresh raw meat…and especially ‘that score.’
Entertainment at it’s finest…
Reminds me, whatever happened to Marilyn after falling off those stilts?
Humility is a good thing.

And then turn green, or purple with envy wondering if what you typed was good or bad, right or wrong, or a total waste of time, or if you had a little fun, or if you get someone’s response from another commenter or owner or producer of the site.
Reminded me of a song about a comment…so I’m off once again to surf this artificial turf.
Gosh, Mis’h'…at least I cut my words to bits into lots and lots of comments….instead of a long one.
You know that Dasuquin is probably, more than likely better just because it’s soft, and what about the lowly avocado?
I just wish, and while away my time and type…

Pretty song…nice vocalist…and better than most…and she probably ended up having young ones to tend to and that and ‘her man’ changed her career.
Dear Freida.
I think its time for a chat regarding your recent postings. There are many that no one sees so anyone reading this may not know what I am talking about. That is not important though because you and I know.
First of all, I do not reveal my personal information on this blog. No one should, because there are too many people out there who try to exploit or hurt others for no good reason. They think they can get away with viciousness because they are shielded by a computer screen.
I have you in moderation because of the large number of off topic comments. Its ok to drift off topic sometimes or have an off topic chat with another poster that may happen to drop by. However every day posting of YouTube links that have no relevance most of the time is not what I or any other blog owner wants on their blog. I have a spam catcher to catch those types of comments and trash them.
I also politely objected to the off topic 5 – 10 – 20 comments by consolidating them into one and even posting them although off topic. You respond by doing it even more and then quadruple spacing. I would like to know why you do that because frankly its rude.
But from now on, I am not going to approve comments that keep going off topic. Occasionally is ok.
I’m not going to approve comments with excessive or off topic YouTube links.
Posts with triple and quadruple spaces go in the trash no matter what they are about.
However, if you like, I will make you your very own thread and you can post whatever you like on it within the bounds of decency.
I’ll give you a day to read this and then I’m going to create the “Freida” thread. When you want to go off topic and post YouTube links or complain about Hugh Hefner etc…that will be the place to do it. You are welcome to comment on any other thread but the rules above stand on other threads. Who knows, there are people who have posted in the past they enjoy your comments, you may even get some fans.
I hope this will be a successful compromise for us Frieda. I know you enjoy commenting and I don’t want to take that away from you.
Your friend,
QV

I love Carlisle too. Peter Fanicelli he looks so different without his make up, have you seen him?
I guess I am Team Cullen. Emmett, Edward and Carlisle. Alice (Ashley Green) is a sweetheart.
I have not read the books. Shame on me i know. I have been busy reading a few others I have had on my list.
My daughter has them and I will start with the Twilight most likely next week.
I got her a Video called ROBsessed. Its all about Robert Pattinson, did you know that one other actor up for the role of Edward was Orlando Bloom?
My son got her one of those 6 foot cut outs of him. The posters on her wall of Robert, Orlando and the Jonas Brothers. Her favorite Jonas is Kevin. Reminds me of when I was young. In my day was daid Cassidy and Bobby Sherman.
To Littlest Ginger Princess. Winifer is an awesome doggie and is now part of the picture show. Thanks for the idea :-)
Is to drama…QV knows!!!
Mish, I love the trivia. Keep it coming…lol! Yes, I saw Carlisle without make-up. I did a search and looked at all of them. Kellen looks very different too without the make-up and the one who plays Rosalie has dark hair.
And no, I did not know Orlando Bloom was considered for the part of Edward. He would have caused the same hysteria cause he is a hottie too. Its good they used some new actors though and now they are stars. When Lord Of The Rings was popular, I got my youngest a cardboard cut out of Orlando Bloom and when she got up Christmas morning, he was standing in my living room. I sold it at a garage sale a couple of years ago. They grow up so quickly.
And Mish, you must read the books. There is so much more rich detail in those. I would have been lost without them watching the movies. Be sure to read that 12 chapters of Edwards story too as its also good. I wish she would finish it.
To Freida: Oh yes! I know all about drama. Been there. Done that and saw the movie. I have lived it as well. Still living it. But oh the stories to tell my future grandchildren. :-)
I once insisted that someone read that first Harry Potter volume…took a while but that someone grew to love it so much…they read at least 8.
Got a little carried away with myself this morning, and don’t you know I regret it.
Anyway, I do believe QV is developing a great new blog here.
Sorry, for being a ‘whatever or wherefore’ it’s just that green eyed monster in me.
Thank you Frieda. You rock!
You rock more!!!
What my daughter wouldnt do for that Orlando cut out. She has loved him since she was 8 years old.
Last year at the end of the school year. the teachers got together and gave awards out to each child for something they were know for.
My daughters teacher set it up nicely. When she was reading the award for my daughter she said “This next award is for someone who will one day get what she wants, she will meet WHoooo?” and the whole 5th grade class yelled Orlando Bloom . It was cute. They played a slide show of the pictures of the kids throughout the year and there were pictures of her holding orlando bloom pics and one standing next to a cut out of him as Will Turner.
I always tell her one day we will go to NY and see him walking on the street when I ask to take a picture of her and him. I will look and it will only be him, she will have fainted….lol.
Ill find some more trivia for you.
Im glad there is someone else my age that can talk Twi light. I only have one friend that is into it as much. All the others think Im nuts….lol
Oh Mish. I know. My daughters love it when I share their interests. You have one lucky daughter to have a Mom who will do the same. If I would have known, I would have saved that cut out for you.
I saw a petition on Facebook for Stephenie Meyer trying to get signatures to persuade her to finish the book of Edwards telling of Twilight. It is good and quite different even though its the telling of the same story. It really goes into how he wanted to kill Bella at first because she was so attractive to him. Wow, what a story…lol!!
Count me in as one of those mom’s who love this movie.
My husband likes it too!
Dear QV,
Ive been a long time lurker of your blog since the Anna Nicole days but this is my first time to comment. I love coming here ( and Topix ) to read the recent news in regards to the Anna Nicole saga but got caught up with the real life so I had been out of the loop for quite a while. I dont know if you still post at topix as ive lost the link to the forum. I have some favourite posters in there like Mrs Marple, Dink, Red Couch and Thing that makes… to name a few. Hope you continue posting all about the anna nicole case. I believe Howard Stern has something to do with her death and Daniel’s. I wish that whoever are responsible for their demis will one day bring to justice.
Im also glad to know someone my age share the same interest bout twilight LOL. Im 40yrs old and I admit I got sucked into this twilight craze although Im still in the closet. None of my friends and family know about my obsession except my teenage daughter who converted me. Ive read all the books and Im team Edward for sure.
Anyways Happy New Year to you and your loved ones. Good health and God bless. – Mae
ps. Sorry for my grammar. English is not my native tongue… Im filipino.
Well, hello Mae. I think I remember you? I do remember someone from the Philippines. You did quite well with your English in the above post. Here is the link to where they are posting on Topix.
http://www.topix.com/forum/who/anna-nicole-smith/TLAQ4MC2A469B8T6S/p760
The subject has evolved away from Anna Nicole and Daniel and into the lawsuits that have spun off of the story so its all about bloggers now but I think the ladies you mentioned are still there on and off.
The trial in California for HKS and the two doctors was set to begin on February 5th but no one expects it to start that soon.
Yes, I love Twilight and its cute that our kids got us hooked. Yes, I’m team Edward. I just realized that a couple of the songs in the movie are performed by Robert Pattinson. That young man is very talented. The one where he and Bella are on their first date at the restaurant is one of them. I’m not too fond of jazz and that is what his music sounds like but I love all the other music. Some of it has a kind of an unearthly quality to it.
Thank you for stopping by to chat. Especially about Twilight…lol! And Happy New Year to you too!
Hi QV, thanks for your reply. Yes Rob is very talented. He not only can sing but is also very good at playing the piano, harmonica and guitar. In the ballet studio scene in Twilight where Edward tries to save Bella, thats also him singing in the background. Sure there are more good looking actors out there than Rob, but I like him because he strikes me as a nice, decent and passionate guy. He is also witty, very down-to-earth, and humble which is refreshing in HW for a young actor these days. Not saying that others are not but Rob is the total package, well to me atleast. Guess I should stop rambling now, Im starting to sound like a true twimom already LOL. You know sometimes im embarrass of myself. I feel like Im too old for this kind of stuff. Oh well….
Thank you once again and i do appreciate you giving me the link to the forum. I will go visit the site and try to catch up whenever i can. I followed this saga from the very beginning since TMZ days because I like to read other people’s theories. Let me also stress that there were/are alot of very intelligent bloggers that are on Mrs Virgie Arthur’s side. Am glad that all the effort for this cause from legal team ( sad to hear about the passing of JOQ ) down to bloggers’ support is finally paying off as I can see justice in the horizon. Hopefully the trial will go on schedule with out further/unecessary delays so the people responsible be put to jail and to finally give closure to Anna’s family – Mae
Hi Mae,
I have taken the time to watch a few interviews of the Twilight cast and what you say about Pattinson struck me too. Those were exactly my thoughts about him being humble. A good quality to have in the celebrity world. I read today that he is being considered among others to play Spiderman. I guess I could see him as a “super hero” but there better be some romance too because I think that is what got him so many young fans and even moms like us. He does the smoldering tortured love lorn thing so very well…lol!
And yes, I agree about the ladies. These cases have been quite an experience for me. I have met so many wonderful people on both sides of the fence. Some that I expect to continue to be life long friends with.
I went over to Topix just before I started this comment and I see they are discussing the cases again. When the trial starts in CA, I’m sure there will be plenty to talk about. The only thing is having to rely on the news which is not always accurate. However, there is an attorney in Los Angeles who tries to cover the Anna Nicole hearings on her blog. Her name is Janice Brenman. Here is a link to her site. http://www.janicebrenman.com/ She is a really nice lady too and a lot of us sure appreciate her coverage.
Did you read about Mrs. Arthur being designated next of kin for Anna for the hearings under Marcies Law? I think thats great as she will have access to the prosecutors and her participation will be encouraged. It was very telling that Birkhead did not seek that status for Dannielynn as well. He obviously does not want to oppose HKS. When that darling little girl grows up and realizes what is going on, I hope she demands some answers and also demands to know her mothers family. Keeping that child from Virgie and the rest of the family is very inappropriate. A child should have access to all the love and support that is available. Birkhead is doing a disservice to her by keeping her from them.
QV,
Good day. Read a few pages at Topix over the weekend and boy there are certainly a lot of catching up for me to do. Then there are also those court documents which are hard to digest especially for someone like me who knows nothing about the Law.
When Stern and the two doctors were charged, it was on aussie TV. I was so happy to see it on the news and Im pretty sure it mentioned Virgie briefly being the next of kin. Hopefully we get more media coverage once the trail started. Also glad theres someone like Janice Brenman who tries to cover the case, God Bless her heart. As for Larry Birkhead, he is a pig ( for lack of a better word) IMO. Im sorry its a harsh word but thats how i feel about him. I was rooting for him during the paternity trial. Im utterly disappointed in him. He made me to believe that he was only after the welfare of Dannielyn. Promised to do his best to bring to justice the people responsible for her mother and brother’s deaths only to turn around 180 degrees and be friends with their suspected killers? He disgusts me. I was very upset during Dannielyn’s birthday where he invited Stern and his family and all the hanger-on but noone from Anna’s family. I have the same sentiments for the Stern family. In my opinion they are evil. I dont know them personally sure, but the way they treated Virgie on her daughter’s funeral says so much about them doesnt it? For Bonnie and Gary to go on national tv and make comments such as ’over my dead body’ to a mourning mother is beyond me. I know for a fact that you’re Stern’s supporter initially but you were smart enough to see right through them and realized that Virgie wasnt the bad guy here after all. It takes a strong person to admit they are wrong and I truly admire you for that.
As for Rob, I think that spider man rumour has been debunked already? There’s also a rumour of him to play Jack Sparrow’s brother in Pirates of the Carribean along side Johnny Depp. Im looking forward for him doing roles outside the twilight franchise. A part where he gets to showcase his musical talent and speak with his hot english accent perhaps? For some reason I cant imagine him play the spidey role though. The thought of him running around in tights is just wrong. No … just NO hehe…
p/s im glad I took the courage to comment on here. It has been such a pleasure to have this conversation with you :)
