Illegal amnesty for illegal immigrants!
How dare this president attempt to circumvent the United States Constitution. Without jobs, the illegals will eventually drift back to where they came from, the same way they got here. There are 25 million American citizens out of work. This is a travesty!

Senators Challenge Pres. Obama on Rumors of Amnesty Through Executive Actions
Updated Wednesday, June 23, 2010, 10:58 AM EDT – posted on NumbersUSA
Several Senators have learned of a possible plan by the Obama Administration that would provide a mass Amnesty for the nation’s 11-18 million illegal aliens. Led by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), eight Senators addressed a letter to the President asking for answers to questions about a plan that would allow DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano to provide an amnesty if they can’t secure enough votes for a bill in the Senate.

The letter that was sent to Pres. Obama earlier today asks the President for clarification on the use of deferred action or parole for illegal aliens. The executive actions are typically used in special cases and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but if 60 votes can’t be secured in the Senate to pass a mass Amnesty, the Administration may use the discretionary actions as an alternative.
Here is the text of the letter signed by Sens. Grassley, Hatch (R-Utah), Vitter (R-La.), Bunning (R-Ky.), Chambliss (R-Ga.), Isakson (R-Ga.), Inhofe (R-Okla.), and Cochran (R-Miss.).
Dear President Obama:
We understand that there’s a push for your Administration to develop a plan to unilaterally extend either deferred action or parole to millions of illegal aliens in the United States. We understand that the Administration may include aliens who have willfully overstayed their visas or filed for benefits knowing that they will not be eligible for a status for years to come. We understand that deferred action and parole are discretionary actions reserved for individual cases that present unusual, emergent or humanitarian circumstances. Deferred action and parole were not intended to be used to confer a status or offer protection to large groups of illegal aliens, even if the agency claims that they look at each case on a “case-by-case” basis.
While we agree our immigration laws need to be fixed, we are deeply concerned about the potential expansion of deferred action or parole for a large illegal alien population. While deferred action and parole are Executive Branch authorities, they should not be used to circumvent Congress’ constitutional authority to legislate immigration policy, particularly as it relates to the illegal population in the United States.
The Administration would be wise to abandon any plans for deferred action or parole for the illegal population. Such a move would further erode the American public’s confidence in the federal government and its commitment to securing the borders and enforcing the laws already on the books.
We would appreciate receiving a commitment that the Administration has no plans to use either authority to change the current position of a large group of illegal aliens already in the United States, and ask that you respond to us about this matter as soon as possible.

I’ve resisted this as long as I could. Reminds me of another thread.
They’re here anyway, legal or not, and we can’t afford to ship them all back ‘overseas,’ (lol…remember ‘you’ said Mexico might as well be)…and so, many poor people can’t hardly buy food and if you weren’t born here to pay the Gov. to take a test and get ‘naturalized’…or whatever…gosh no matter where your born I’m pretty sure people are ‘natural.’
Was that ‘tactful’ or ‘politically correct?’
That ‘border’ reminds me of an old ‘Great Wall,’ in a way.
Not enough jobs, too many drugs, too much war…”Too Much Mind.”
They can go back the same way they came. They are here illegally and its their responsibility to go back where they came from. And I’m not just talking about Mexicans. Not at all. There are people from all over the world who use the Mexican border to cross over. Check this out.

Also, its not so similar. The American people have notified their representatives time and time again that they want no amnesty for illegal immigrants. The government is supposed to be for us and by us. When a president tries to circumvent the democratic process and go against the wishes of proven and overwhelming opposition to amnesty, there is something very wrong. Surely you can see the self interest operating here and lack of concern for what Americans want. Don’t forget the constitution also prohibits illegals entering our country.
Yeah, I know…and if they (our Gov.) know, or have counted 11 million min. at least are here, and no doubt they’ve been multiplying, seems somethin’s been goin’ on right before our very eyes…for so long…seems some laws never mattered.
However, I do have a thing for ‘strays’…
Maybe ‘pet people’ could be neutered or spayed…wonder what’s ‘in store’ for the ‘futures’ of the good ole’ USofA? And I wonder what our Gov. is up to…’cause they don’t do nothin’ for free.
Actually is was Ronald Reagan who started with the legalization of aliens and G.W. Bush who fought for it:
What does a president do if he wins election after losing the popular vote, nearly losing the electoral vote, watching the base of his party begin to vanish, and wins at all only because his own party’s appointees to the Supreme Court say that he won?
What George W. Bush is proposing to do is import a new electorate by granting an amnesty to some 3 million illegal aliens from Mexico. Hopefully, the desperate strategists in the White House claim, those of the 3 million who become voters by 2004 will support Mr. Bush somewhat more zealously than the lackluster 31 percent of Hispanic voters he actually won last year.

It’s only hype ( they admit it’s guess work ) that Obama wants amnesty for the illegals. It’s not true.
Hi Dibbs.
I have seen Obama’s speeches about their “path to citizenship.”. I have seen our President apologize to the President of Mexico for Arizona’s brave stance. How about this below? Do you think those countries would allow any of us to enter their country illegally, plop down and start draining their taxpayer resources?

Seven Latin-American nations join Mexico in Arizona immigration lawsuit
Date: 22/07/2010 – 07:57
Seven other Latin American countries want to join Mexico in supporting a lawsuit challenging Arizona’s immigration enforcement law.
Bolivia, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Paraguay and Peru filed separate, nearly identical motions to join Mexico’s legal brief supporting the lawsuit filed by U.S. civil rights and other advocacy groups.
A federal judge formally accepted Mexico’s filing July 1 but did not immediately rule on the latest motions filed late last week.
Mexico says the law would lead to racial profiling and hinder trade, tourism and the fight against drug trafficking.
The law is to take effect July 29. It requires that police conducting traffic stops or questioning people about possible legal violations ask them about their immigration status if there is “reasonable suspicion” that they’re in the country illegally.

This is real…

Coincidentally, they are at it again trying to bypass Congress so our citizens can not register objections with our representatives. This time for two million or so who could eventually sponsor many millions more. I don’t think “who” got the ball rolling is relevant when Obama continues the effort. He would be signing an executive order if they get away with it. The fact is, illegals mean slave wages and more money into the pockets of big business and back to the illegals home countries. The blight on our economy is crippling as American citizens and green card holders pay taxes for free health care, education, food stamps, reduced cost housing and utilities for those who are breaking the law and need to leave. And thats without getting into details about the diseases they bring with them due to lack of medical screening. Check out Morgellons disease (I know people in Florida who are suffering from it) and other horrific diseases that are spreading in the southern gulf states.

I agree with you. We should not encourage breaking the law, today it is illegal immigration, what will it be tomorrow.
